All Cards List

Table of Contents

What is Intimidate?

Prevents Being Targeted by an Attack

effects

A Follower with Intimidate cannot be targeted for an attack by other Followers, but it can be targeted by abilities.

Best Ways to Use Intimidate

An Attacker that Targets the Leader

Followers with Intimidate can only be dealt with by abilities. If you can keep an Intimidate follower on the field, it becomes a source continuous damage. Therefore, it is powerful , your opponent can only attack your leader. By taking advantage of this, if you play an Intimidate follower when your opponent's field is full, they will be unable to play cards.

When is Board Lock Effective

Full Board with Low Attack

If the opponent's field is filled with small followers like Knights or amulets, it's a good opportunity to lock.

Likely to Win with Direct Damage

Calculate the damage the opponent can deal from their field and the damage from your Intimidate follower + Storm or burn damage from your hand. If you determine that you can reduce their Defense to 0 first, then it might be a good idea to aim for a board lock.

Making a Comeback with AoE or Restore

If you have a powerful counter ready for the next turn after locking, you can stop the opponent's plays, allowing you to aim for a comeback.

Be Careful of Spells

When performing a board lock, it becomes easier to identify effective situations if you consider whether the opponent has spells to break the lock or deal additional damage.
