Faith Mechanic Explained
New System Introduced in Card Set 3
Faith is a new mechanic introduced in Set 3, Heirs of the Omen. It’s used to buff a leader and works similar to a Crest, which appears in the same bottom-left corner of the screen.
Displayed in the Bottom Left
If your deck includes a card that uses Faith, then the Faith icon will appear in the bottom-left corner right as the match begins.
Value Increases When Card Conditions Are Met
Faith builds up as you fulfill the specific conditions tied to each card that uses Faith. For example, Sham-Nacha’s Faith increases by 1 every time you play a card with [Mode].
Consumed When Activating Effects
Once you’ve built up enough Faith Value, playing the corresponding card will consume it to activate the card’s effect. A good example of this is when you spend 10 Faith for Sham-Nacha to trigger its card effect: Increase the number of [Mode] choices by 1 each time you play a card with [Mode].
