Evo Forestcraft Deck - How to Play
Play Attackers and Build Your Evolution Count Early On
Overwhelm Your Opponent While Building Your Evolution Count
| Building Evolution Count | ||
|---|---|---|
Kindly Executor | Nurturing Eld Lance | Springbloom Fairy |
| Early-Game Destruction Options | ||
Krulle, Heir to Unkilling | Miroku, Swarmpetal | |
In the first few turns, play cards that summon the Springbloom Fairy. Her high attack and health will easily pressure your opponent while quickly boosting your total Evolution count! By Evolving as much as possible early on, you can automatically summon Sandalphon from your deck using 'Invoke,' or unlock the powerful 'Faith' ability on Sathanid much sooner.
Use Evolution Points to Power Up During the Middle Turns
Reach 6 Evolutions to Summon Sandalphon
Stack Evolutions with Motherly Forestdweller and Springbloom Fairy
During the middle turns, spend your Evolution Points generously to reach 6 total Evolutions so Sandalphon automatically 'Invokes' into your hand. If you get Sandalphon into your hand *before* you play Althenia, Nurturing Bloom, Althenia's amazing ability will instantly add 4 more Evolutions to your total, which incredibly speeds up the charge time for Sandalphon's massive 'Super Skybound Art' attack!
Play Huge Attackers While Wiping Out Enemy Forces
Spirited Skipper and Glade, Fragrantwood Ward are perfect when your opponent tries to flood the table with a massive army, or when you need to safely pass turn 5. Because these cards have such high stats, the opponent will have a terrible time trying to destroy them. Their true strength lies in completely stopping the enemy's attack, giving you the perfect opening to safely summon your own army.
Unleash Sathanid and Sandalphon to Finish the Game
Shut Down Opponents with Krulle's Super-Evolution

Use the special Crest you get from Krulle's Super-Evolution to shut down your opponent's strategy while you continue charging up your own big attacks. Because this Crest instantly destroys any enemy played with 1 health, it is an incredible way to stop opponents from using their own Springbloom Fairies in a mirror match, and it severely weakens incoming 'Storm' attacks!
Use Leftover Play Points to Keep Evolving
Vyrn, Bestest Pal | Ewiyar, Wind Personified |
Vyrn, Bestest Pal and Ewiyar, Wind Personified are incredibly cheap, meaning you can easily squeeze them in with your leftover Play Points to wipe out enemy attackers using their automatic Evolution and instant 'Rush' abilities. Take full advantage of Vyrn's free Evolves and Ewiyar's ability to refund your Evolution Points to keep your combo counter climbing!
Instantly Gain 4 Evolutions with Althenia

By using a Super-Evolution on Althenia, you can instantly wipe out 3 enemy attackers and add 4 Evolutions to your total, letting you quickly unlock your strongest ultimate attacks and 'Faith' abilities. Hiding Althenia behind a wall of three "Ward" followers is a brilliant move—if she survives the turn, she can attack twice to strike the winning blow!
Blast the Enemy with Sathanid's Faith

Once you finally reach 10 Evolutions, drop Sathanid onto the table and blast the opponent using its fully-powered "Faith" ability. Combine this with your automatically Evolving followers to constantly burn down the enemy leader's health, perfectly setting them up to be finished off by Sandalphon.
Wipe Out the Enemy Army and Strike the Final Blow with Sandalphon
| Apply Pressure While Charging Super Skybound Art and Faith | |
|---|---|
![]() | - An incredibly powerful finisher for Evolution Forestcraft. - After he automatically 'Invokes' into your hand, the best move is to quickly charge his ultimate attack using Althenia. - Combo him with a 4-cost follower that Evolves automatically to clear out any remaining enemy defenders. |
| Apply Pressure While Charging Super Skybound Art and Faith | |
![]() | - A fantastic secondary attacker that pairs perfectly with Sandalphon. - Always try to save at least one copy to play alongside Sandalphon. - While Sathanid's effect is active, you can easily strike the final blow alongside Sandalphon if the opponent has 14 or less health! |
| Use Them to Dig for Your Winning Cards | |
![]() | - Works as a great way to destroy enemies right before your massive turn 10 Sandalphon play. - You can also simply play them to draw fresh cards if you are missing your combo pieces! |
Wipe out the enemy army using cards like Cupitan and Gran & Djeeta, and aim for the finish by landing a massive hit on the enemy leader with Sandalphon. It is highly recommended to overwhelm them by playing multiple Sandalphons on back-to-back turns so they never get a chance to heal!
Mulligan Guide for the Evo Forestcraft
Look for Kindly Executor and Miroku
Your top priority is to find Kindly Executor and Miroku. Kindly Executor is great because she gives you strong plays for the first two turns while putting Springbloom Fairies on the board. Miroku is also a keeper because he is very flexible and you can use him to destroy enemies, get Play Points back, or create more Fairies, depending on what your opponent does.
Keep These If You Have the Cards Above
If you already have Kindly Executor or Miroku, you should also keep Gran & Djeeta, Nurturing Eld Lance, and Glade. These are excellent choices because they are cards that keep your hand full while creating even more Springbloom Fairies for you to Evolve.
Going Second? Keep Motherly Forestdweller

If you are going 2nd, you should definitely keep Motherly Forestdweller. By Evolving her as soon as possible, you can create a strong army with a big 6/6 and a 3/3 follower immediately, which forces the opponent to defend.
Keep Krulle Against Aggressive Decks

We recommend keeping Krulle if you are facing aggressive decks like Abysscraft that try to win fast. He is perfect for stopping opponents who try to rush you with lots of small followers, especially in situations where Motherly Forestdweller is too slow or when you want to save your Cupitan for later.
Keep Althenia for the Late Game

If you already have three good cards for the early game, you can keep Althenia as your fourth card. She is essential for boosting your Evolution count and completely taking over the field later in the game. Since this version of the deck might not have search cards like Lyria to find her, it is safer to keep her if you catch her in your opening hand.
How to Counter the Evo Forestcraft
Attack Early and Fast

Evolution Forestcraft becomes terrifying in the late game once their "Skybound Art" meter is full. However, their weakness is that they have very few strong followers in the early game besides weak Springbloom Fairies. You should take advantage of this by playing cheap followers and attacking their leader constantly before they get strong.
Block Motherly Forestdweller

When the opponent Evolves Motherly Forestdweller, they get two strong followers (a 6/6 and a 3/3) and boost their "Evolution count." However, if you use cards like Zwei or Anne & Grea to hide a big follower behind a Ward, it makes it very awkward for them to attack and Evolve her effectively.
How to Beat Althenia

Althenia is their strongest card. If you are also playing Forestcraft, you can stop the Fairy she summons by Super-Evolving Krulle to board lock. If you are playing Swordcraft, the best counter is to attack their leader aggressively so you can win the game instantly with Albert on turn 9.
