Featured Card Analysis

Gilnelise, Voracity Manifest- A fantastic all-in-one card: it heals your leader, destroys enemy followers, and can deal the final winning blow.
- Makes surviving against aggressive decks like Milteo & Luzen Abysscraft and Loot Swordcraft much easier.
Krulle, Heir to Unkilling- Can easily shut down the opponent's Althenia if you use a Super-Evolution on her.
- Provides excellent early defense against fast, aggressive decks.
- Combines perfectly with Gilnelise to heal your leader for massive amounts.
Glade, Fragrantwood Ward- A great backup card to Evolve if you haven't drawn your own Althenia yet.
- Draws cards from your deck much more consistently than Floral Offering.
- Perfect for fighting back against annoying "Intimidate" followers or surviving when the opponent drops Zwei.

Alternate Cards

Phildau, Lionheart Ward
- A perfect counter when the opponent plays their own Althenia, which is incredibly useful if you are both playing similar Forestcraft decks.
- Very effective at safely taking down massive enemy threats.
Katalina, Sky's Protector
- An amazing "Ward" follower that can actually survive and stop Albert's instant "Storm" attacks.
- Also excellent for wiping out multiple enemy followers in the middle of the game.

Evo Forestcraft Deck - How to Play

Build Your Army and Evolve Early

Best Cards for the Early Game

Increasing Your Evolutions
Kindly ExecutorNurturing Eld LanceSpringbloom Fairy- Playing the Springbloom Fairy to safely increase your Evolution count right from the start is an amazing move.
- Its strong 3/3 stats make it a massive threat early on.
Destroying Enemies
Miroku, Swarmpetal- The 3-cost ability is fantastic for destroying enemy followers and taking control.
- Its 2-cost ability magically gives you Play Points back, letting you drop another follower for free!
Krulle, Heir to Unkilling- Great for destroying early threats on turn 4 when you are going first and cannot Evolve yet.
- It also heals your leader, keeping you safe.
When You Have Nothing Else
Gran & Djeeta, Valiant Skyfarers- You can use them to draw new cards on turn 4 if you go first, which is usually a slow turn.
- They are also excellent for taking out annoying enemy followers.

In the early game, focus on cards that summon the "Springbloom Fairy" to quickly boost your Evolution count while bullying the opponent with their high stats. By evolving as much as possible early on, you can automatically pull Sandalphon from your deck and unlock Sathanid's 'Faith' power much faster.

Spend Evolution Points to Keep Evolving

Best Cards for the Mid-Game

Massive Evolution Boosts (Turns 4–6)
Motherly ForestdwellerSpringbloom Fairy- By playing her and the Fairy she gives you, you can get a massive 3 Evolutions from just a single card!
- Her huge 6/6 stats hiding behind a "Ward" (Blocker) make her incredibly tough to beat.
Card Draw Engines
Glade, Fragrantwood Ward- Lets you draw fresh cards to find your winning combo pieces.
- Her ability to wipe out enemy followers when she Evolves is a lifesaver.
Floral Offering- Drawing a card for 0 Play Points is always fantastic.
- However, once you reach 6 Evolutions, Sandalphon is automatically added to your hand, so be very careful not to draw too many cards and accidentally destroy him!
Free Evolutions for the Late Game
Vyrn, Bestest Pal- His ability to Evolve completely for free on later turns is incredible.
- Costing only 2 Play Points makes him very easy to sneak into your turn alongside other cards.
Ewiyar, Wind Personified- Magically gives you an Evolution Point back, letting you keep your combo going.
- Since she has "Rush" (can attack instantly), she is perfect for destroying enemies right away.

Keep evolving your followers during the middle turns. Your main goal is to reach 6 Evolutions so Sandalphon is automatically pulled from your deck into your hand. If you get Sandalphon ready before you play Althenia, you can use Althenia's massive 4-Evolution turn to instantly fully charge Sandalphon's ultimate attack!

Unleash Sathanid and Sandalphon

Best Cards for the Late Game

Charge Your Ultimate Attacks and Faith
Althenia, Nurturing Bloom- Instantly gives you 4 Evolutions at once to fully charge your ultimate attacks and Faith abilities.
- She can destroy three enemy followers and attack twice when Super-Evolved.
- Hiding her behind three "Ward" puts terrifying pressure on the opponent.
The Reward for Evolving
Sathanid, Eld Lance- Once her "Faith" requirement is met, every single Evolution will trigger a powerful blast that hits all enemies.
- Use this constant direct damage to lower the enemy leader's health into Sandalphon's winning range.
- Her "Drain" healing also keeps you safely out of danger.
Sandalphon, Primarch Successor- Your absolute best finishing card.
- Ideally, you charge up his ultimate attack instantly using Althenia right after he is added to your hand.
- You can also use him just as a cheap, self-evolving follower to clear the board if you are desperate.
Cupitan, Iridescent Archer- Your other major finishing card when paired with Sandalphon.
- Always save at least one copy just for him.
- With Sathanid's power active, you can easily win the game in one turn with Sandalphon if the enemy leader is at 14 health or lower!
Emergency Searchers
Gran & Djeeta, Valiant Skyfarers- Great for destroying an enemy right before dropping Sandalphon on turn 10.
- Also a perfect desperation play to draw cards if you haven't found your winning combo yet.

In the late game, build an unstoppable army using Althenia to easily get the 4 Evolutions needed to activate Sandalphon's ultimate attack and Sathanid's 'Faith' power. Once Sathanid is fully powered up, keep evolving your followers to wipe out the enemy army and deal massive direct damage.

The Ultimate Combo: Cupitan + Sandalphon

If you manage to whittle the enemy leader's health down to 14 or less using your direct damage and attacking followers, the trap is set. You can then completely wipe out their surviving followers and deal 4 damage using Cupitan's ultimate attack, leaving the field completely empty for Sandalphon to deliver the final 10-damage blow and win the game!

Mulligan Guide for the Evo Forestcraft

Look for Kindly Executor and Miroku

Your top priority is to find Kindly Executor and Miroku. Kindly Executor is great because she gives you strong plays for the first two turns while putting Springbloom Fairies on the board. Miroku is also a keeper because he is very flexible and you can use him to destroy enemies, get Play Points back, or create more Fairies, depending on what your opponent does.

Keep These If You Have the Cards Above

If you already have Kindly Executor or Miroku, you should also keep Gran & Djeeta, Nurturing Eld Lance, and Glade. These are excellent choices because they are cards that keep your hand full while creating even more Springbloom Fairies for you to Evolve.

Going Second? Keep Motherly Forestdweller

If you are going 2nd, you should definitely keep Motherly Forestdweller. By Evolving her as soon as possible, you can create a strong army with a big 6/6 and a 3/3 follower immediately, which forces the opponent to defend.

Keep Krulle Against Aggressive Decks

We recommend keeping Krulle if you are facing aggressive decks like Abysscraft that try to win fast. He is perfect for stopping opponents who try to rush you with lots of small followers, especially in situations where Motherly Forestdweller is too slow or when you want to save your Cupitan for later.

Keep Althenia for the Late Game

If you already have three good cards for the early game, you can keep Althenia as your fourth card. She is essential for boosting your Evolution count and completely taking over the field later in the game. Since this version of the deck might not have search cards like Lyria to find her, it is safer to keep her if you catch her in your opening hand.

How to Counter the Evo Forestcraft

Attack Early and Fast

Evolution Forestcraft becomes terrifying in the late game once their "Skybound Art" meter is full. However, their weakness is that they have very few strong followers in the early game besides weak Springbloom Fairies. You should take advantage of this by playing cheap followers and attacking their leader constantly before they get strong.

Block Motherly Forestdweller

When the opponent Evolves Motherly Forestdweller, they get two strong followers (a 6/6 and a 3/3) and boost their "Evolution count." However, if you use cards like Zwei or Anne & Grea to hide a big follower behind a Ward, it makes it very awkward for them to attack and Evolve her effectively.

How to Beat Althenia

Althenia is their strongest card. If you are also playing Forestcraft, you can stop the Fairy she summons by Super-Evolving Krulle to board lock. If you are playing Swordcraft, the best counter is to attack their leader aggressively so you can win the game instantly with Albert on turn 9.
