Discard Dragoncraft Deck - How to Play
Play Followers and Boost Your Points Early

In the first few turns, play cheap followers to keep control of the field while increasing your maximum Play Points with Dragonsign and Liu Feng, Goldennote Ward. Aim to constantly put new followers into play and aggressively attack the enemy leader's health.
Use Fan of Otohime for Constant Pressure

If you draw Fan of Otohime early in the game, you should play it immediately. Use this when you don't have cards to boost your Play Points, or when the opponent has no defenders so you can keep dealing damage to their leader every turn.
Win the Game with a Wave of Fast Attackers

Once you have plenty of Play Points, use followers with Storm like Forte, Odin, and Sagatsumatsu to deal massive damage to the leader in a single turn. Use any leftover points to play cards like Spilling Red or Advent of the Eld Blades to clear the way for your attacks.
Discard Vorlalai and Advent of the Eld Blades

Using cards like Sagatsumatsu and Fan of Otohime, you can trigger powerful secret abilities by Discarding Vorlalai, Eld Blades and Advent of the Eld Blades from your hand. The strength of this deck is that discarding cards doesn't lose you resources. It actually gives you a bonus!
The Ultimate Combo: Sagatsumatsu and Vorlalai
The strongest move in the deck is made by discarding Vorlalai when you play Sagatsumatsu, and then immediately Super-Evolving the Vorlalai that gets summoned to the field. If you also discard the "Depths of the Eld Blades" spell, you can knock out 3 enemy followers while dealing 8 damage to the leader all at once.
Mulligan Guide for the Discard Dragoncraft
Keep Ramp-Up Cards
Prioritize finding Ramp-Up cards in your mulligan. It's a strong play to Ramp-Up early, then use powerful Storm Followers to chip away at the opponent's DP from the midgame onward.
If You Have Ramp-Up, Keep Early to Mid-Game Cards
| Along with Ramp-Up Cards | |
|---|---|
Jellyfish Dancer | Sloth of the Crestpetal |
Yube, Crestpetal | Galmieux, Ardor Manifest |
If you have a Ramp-Up card, it's recommended to keep 2-Cost cards that can cover the tempo loss from ramping or cards like Yube, Crestpetal and Galmieux, Ardor Manifest, who can retake the field after you Ramp-Up.
How to Counter the Discard Dragoncraft
Keep Playing Followers

The opponent relies on spells from "Galmieux" or fast attacks from "Majestic Megalorcas" to destroy your team. If you force them to use these cards early, they won't have any answers left when you play your big followers later. Keep putting followers on the table to make them waste their Evolution Points and removal cards.
Make it Hard for Sharks to Kill You

When the opponent tries to remove your followers, they usually use "Majestic Megalorcas" that can attack immediately. These Sharks have 2 Attack power. If you play a follower with 3 Health, they are forced to waste two Sharks just to kill one of yours, giving you a big advantage.
Watch Out for Yube's Power-Up

Once Yube gives the opponent a Crest, their Sharks get stronger and have 3 Attack. Now you need to play followers with 4 Health to survive their attacks and stay ahead.
Block Fast Attacks with a Crowd

Discard Dragoncraft uses "Storm" followers to attack your leader directly. It is harder for them to hit you if you have two or more followers on your side. Having a full team protects your health and helps you survive. Plus, if they ignore your army, you can attack back and win the game on your next turn.
