Detail | |
- A Deck that withstands attacks with plenty of Destroy and Restore cards - Strong against Aggro and Mid-Range Decks. - Its high inconsistency is lack of draw cards. |
A Control Deck that wins by withstanding the opponent's board development
Control Havencraft is a Deck that uses powerful destroy cards, Ward, and Restore to fend off the opponent's attacks, aiming to run them out of resources. Once the opponent's attacks have stopped, you can play Ruler of Cocytus to finish the game.
Control Havencraft - How to Play
Use Amulets from Early to Mid Game

In the early game, play Amulets to advance your draw and deal with the field. The goal of this Deck is to play defensively and completely clear the opponent's field, so it's important to disrupt the opponent's Follower board development so you don't fall behind in the early game.
Focus on Field Clearing From Mid Game

From the mid game onwards, continue to efficiently use Salefa, Guardian of Water and Unholy Vessel to clear the opponent's field. The Deck's strategy is to play your powerful cards when the opponent's pressure lets up.
Think About How to Use Your Resources
This Deck has high destroy capabilities, but the resources available for destroying are limited, so it's important to think about how to use them. Try to use AOE and Evolution to counter your opponent's powerful fields.
Play Your Powerful Cards

Watch for a moment when the opponent's field is weak to play cards like Lapis, Shining Seraph and Ronavero, Darkhaven Ward to put them on a clock. This will force them to rush their attacks, so continue to clear their field.
Keep Ronavero in Ambush

Once you play Ronavero, Darkhaven Ward, buff it with Darkhaven Grace, and time your attack for the turn when Jeanne, Saintly Knight or Lapis, Shining Seraph comes out, making your field the most powerful. Also, by keeping a Super-Evolved Ronavero, Darkhaven Ward in Ambush, you can unleash AOE every turn with Grimnir, Heavenly Gale's Crest.
Finish with Storm or Ambush Attacks
Once you've played Lapis, Shining Seraph or Ronavero, Darkhaven Ward, buff them with Darkhaven Grace or Jeanne, Saintly Knight, attack the enemy Leader, and reduce their Defense to zero.
Mulligan Guide for the Control Havencraft
Keep Multiple Low-Cost Amulets
Basically, keep low-cost Amulets and prepare for your mid- to late-game board development. In the early game, you have few options, and playing Amulets is about all you can do, so we recommend keeping multiple.
Keep Followers for 4-5 Play Turns
This Deck often retakes the field on turns 4 and 5 with Followers that can destroy, so you should keep one of these Followers in your opening hand. However, you generally want to look for Amulets, so just keep one of them, or, depending on the matchup, you can redraw them.
