A Deck That Stays One Step Ahead
Evolution Camiscilla Portalcraft is a deck famous for making strong plays that keep you in the lead by using Camiscilla and the Unfeeling Eld Axe in the middle of the match. It is very easy to increase your total number of evolutions, allowing you to unleash the power of Sandalphon, Primarch Successor, much earlier than usual.

Evo Portalcraft Deck - How to Play
Use "Accelerate" to Stay in the Game

This deck lets you play expensive followers for a much lower cost using the "Accelerate" ability. Especially in the first few turns, if you don't have cheap cards to play, it is very effective to use Accelerate just to keep some defenders on the field.
Play Yog-Zentha to Get a Cloning Spell

Play Yog-Zentha when you already have a follower that costs 5 or more on the field to get the spell Depths of the Eld Axe. This is amazing early on because if the Substandard Puppet you played on turn 3 is still alive, you can create a perfect clone of it on turn 4 to suddenly have two powerful 4/3 attackers ready to fight.
Saving the Spell for Later is Also Smart

Holding onto Depths of the Eld Axe is also a great move. If you use it on Camiscilla, then on your next turn, she will only cost 4 points to play. This lets you play her alongside other big followers to trigger Super-Evolution and deal massive damage.
Playing Zwei Early is Very Strong

By playing and evolving Zwei as soon as you possibly can, you can knock out your opponent's attackers while hiding safely behind her defensive "Ward" shield. If Zwei survives the turn, use that advantage to build an even bigger army and try to win quickly.
Keep the Pressure on with Myriad Designs

Even after you take the lead with Zwei, keep filling the board using Myriad Designs and Unfeeling Eld Axe. The cost of Unfeeling Eld Axe goes down every time a big follower (cost 5+) enters the match, eventually becoming free to play. This allows you to wipe out enemy followers while stacking up your evolution count for free.
Summon Helpers with Imari

Evolve Imari and play a 1-cost spell at the same time to fill your side of the field with Imari's Puppets. The special ability from Sincerity of the Dewdrop is great for taking out enemies, making it easy to clear the way and take control of the match.
Boost Your Evolutions and Attacks with Camiscilla

Camiscilla is your key card for filling the board and getting your evolution count high. If you play her on the same turn you use an Accelerate card, you boost your evolution count even faster, which also increases the damage she deals to the enemy leader when she Super-Evolves.
Win the Game with Sandalphon

Late in the game, aim for the winning blow with Sandalphon. By chipping away at their health with Camiscilla or activating Beelzebub's special permanent ability earlier in the match, it becomes much easier to get the opponent's health low enough to finish them off.
Mulligan Guide for the Evo Portalcraft
Look for Cheap Followers and Zwei
Focus on finding followers you can play in the very first turns and Zwei, Symphonic Heart, who is amazing at wiping out the enemy team while setting up your own defense. Substandard Puppet is great because you can play it cheaply using Accelerate. Since it counts as a high-cost card, having it lets Yog-Zentha give you the powerful 'Depths of the Eld Axe' spell very early on.
Keep Imari if You Have a Good Start

If you already have the cheap cards listed above, you can also keep Imari. She is much stronger when you evolve her, so try to save her until you have enough points to unleash her full power.
Keep Gran & Djeeta When You Go First

When you go first, turn 4 can be tricky because you can't evolve yet. That's why you should keep Gran & Djeeta, since they give you the choice to either draw cards or knock out an enemy. They are perfect for taking out dangerous enemies before they become a problem, or simply drawing more cards if the opponent doesn't have much on the table.
How to Counter the Evo Portalcraft
Destroy High-Cost Puppets

Shoddy Plaything and Substandard Puppet count as costing 5 play points, even if the opponent used Accelerate to play them for cheap. The opponent needs these on the table to activate their strongest abilities. Destroy any follower that originally costs 5 or more right away to stop their combos.
Be Ready for Zwei

When Zwei Evolves on turn 5, she creates a very strong wall of followers, including two "Ward" followers. This is a critical moment in the match, so you need to save specific cards in your hand that can destroy this wall immediately.
Counter Imari's Swarm

Imari fills the table with many small "Imari's Imps." If you save a card like Salefa, who deals damage to everyone when Evolved, so you can wipe out all the Imps at once while destroying Imari effortlessly.
Make Beelzebub Awkward to Play

Beelzebub is scary because he destroys 3 of your followers and permanently boosts the opponent's damage. Once they reach 9 play points, try to keep 4 or more followers on your side. This makes it hard for them to play Beelzebub because he can't clear your whole team.
Check Their Super Move Timer

Their Super Skybound Art only works if the current Turn Number plus their total Evolution Count equals 15 or more. If the total is 14 or less, you don't need to worry about Chaos Legion or Sandalphon's ultimate attacks yet.
Block Sandalphon with a Crowd

Sandalphon shoots 2 damage 5 times at random targets. You can protect your leader by having more followers on the table to take the hits. Check the math, and if their move is ready, fill the table with followers to act as shields.
