What are Bonus Play Points?
New System for the Player Going Second
"Bonus Play Points" are a new feature for the player going second, introduced in Worlds Beyond. Using a Bonus Play Point increases your Play Points by 1 for that turn only.
Use Twice During a Match
You can use a Bonus Play Point once between turns 1 and 5 and once on turn 6 or later, for a total of two times per match. If you use a Bonus Play Point between turns 1 and 5, you cannot use another one until turn 6.Restored Once on Turn 6
If you used a Bonus Play Point between turns 1 and 5, your Bonus Play Point will be restored on turn 6. Be sure to use your Bonus Play Point by turn 5.Bonus Play Points Summary
- Bonus Play Points can't be carried over to the next turn
- Cannot be canceled after playing a card
- Will not be restored after turn 6
Can't Be Carried Over to the Next Turn
Even if you have leftover Play Points on the turn you used a Bonus Play Point, they will disappear at the end of the turn. Therefore, if you use a Bonus Play Point on turn 5 and have 1 Play Point left over, you cannot carry it over to the next turn.
Cannot Be Canceled After Playing a Card
After activating a Bonus Play Point, if you play a card, you cannot cancel the use of the Bonus Play Point for that turn.
Will Not Be Restored After Turn 6
If you do not use a Bonus Play Point by turn 5, the Bonus Play Point will not be restored on turn 6 or later, and you will only have one Extra EP left during that game.
