A Combo Deck That Thins the Deck
Odd Dragoncraft is a deck that uses Ruinbringer to banish all odd‑cost cards from your deck, then overwhelms the opponent with a combo built from the remaining powerful even‑cost cards. Its main weakness is the early game since it can’t run 2‑cost cards, but with proper Ramp, it can unleash explosive, show‑stopping plays once the combo comes together.
Odd Dragoncraft Deck - How to Play
Control the Field while Ramping Up in the Early Game

In the early game, focus on Ramping Up while using removal spells to keep your opponent’s board in check. This deck runs no 2‑cost or 4‑cost cards, so its early turns are naturally weak. Your goal is to Ramp quickly so you can start playing your high‑cost power cards.
Stall for Time with Field Control and Restore

In the mid-game, use Neptune, Arbiter of Tides to Restore health or control the field, and use Fate of the World or Blade of the Crestpetal to draw Ruinbringer. Until your Super-Evolution turn, you'll basically be stalling by Ramping Up, controlling the field, and drawing cards.
Use Super-Evolution on Ruinbringer

When your Super-Evolution turn comes, use Super-Evolution on Ruinbringer to make your Deck contain only even-Cost cards. The Deck contains powerful cards like Getenou, Eightfold Glory, Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix, Mjerrabaine, Great Manifest, and Ruler of Cocytus, so the goal of this Deck is to aim for a powerful Combo by combining them.
Cheat Costs with Getenou, Eightfold Glory

Once you've thinned your deck, use Getenou, Eightfold Glory's second Mode. If you draw a card that isn't 10-Cost, its Cost will become 0, which allows you to build a strong field and deal damage, while also being able to play cards like Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix, Ruler of Cocytus, and Erntz, Governing Justice.
Save and Combine Cards with Reduced Cost
By saving cards with reduced Cost, you can aim for Combos like Ruler of Cocytus into Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix or Mjerrabaine, Great Manifest into Ruler of Cocytus.
Play Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix and Aim for an OTK

After playing Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix, you can chain together multiple high‑cost cards remaining in your deck. You can aim for an OTK with two Genesis Dragon Reborn activations, or by evolving Mjerrabaine, Great Manifest and following up with Ruler of Cocytus. Another option is to play Ruler of Cocytus first, then Fennie to reduce the cost of cards in your Apocalypse Deck.
Mulligan Guide for the Odd Dragoncraft
Aggressively Look for Ramp-Up Cards
This deck has very few plays in the early game, so aggressively look for Ramp-Up cards to play your 5-cost and 7-cost cards early.
Keep Followers and destroy spells Along with Ramp-Up Cards
| Keep Alongside Ramp-Up Cards | ||
|---|---|---|
Ruinbringer | Seasoned Merman | Neptune, Arbiter of Tides |
Strike of the Dragonewt | Blade of the Crestpetal | Fate of the World |
If you have any of the Ramp-Up cards listed above, keep Ruinbringer, which you'll want to Super-Evolve as early as possible. Also, keep powerful follow-up plays for after you Ramp-Up, such as Seasoned Merman, Neptune, Arbiter of Tides, or destroy spells.
