A Combo Deck That Thins the Deck
Odd Dragoncraft is a deck that uses Ruinbringer to banish all odd‑cost cards from your deck, then overwhelms the opponent with a combo built from the remaining powerful even‑cost cards. Its main weakness is the early game since it can’t run 2‑cost cards, but with proper Ramp, it can unleash explosive, show‑stopping plays once the combo comes together.
Odd Dragoncraft Deck - How to Play
Ramp Up and Clear Enemy Followers in the Early Game

In the early game, focus on Ramping to increase your play points while using spells to clear any followers your opponent puts out. Because this deck skips 2-Cost and 4-Cost cards, you might feel a bit slow at the start. Ramping up as fast as possible is the best way to start playing your powerful cards sooner.
Slow the Game Down with Healing and Removal

In the mid‑game, use Neptune, Arbiter of Tides to heal or clear enemy followers, and use cards like Revelation of the World or Blade of the Crestpetal to draw Ruinbringer. Until your Super‑Evolution turn, you’ll mostly be buying time with ramp, removal, and draw effects
Use Super-Evolution on Ruinbringer

When your Super‑Evolution turn arrives, use it on Ruinbringer to change your deck so it contains only even‑cost cards. This lets you chain powerful cards like Getenou, Fennie, Mjerrabaine, and Ruler of Cocytus, which is the core game plan of the deck.
Use Getenou to Play High‑Cost Cards for Free

Once your deck is thinned, activate the second mode of Getenou, Eightfold Glory. Any card you draw that isn’t a 10‑cost becomes 0‑cost, letting you flood the field, deal damage, and drop cards like Fennie, Ruler of Cocytus, or Erntz for free.
Save Your Free Cards for Big Combos
By holding onto your reduced‑cost cards, you can set up huge turns such as Ruler of Cocytus → Fennie, or Mjerrabaine → Ruler of Cocytus.
Get Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix on the Board and Aim for a One-Turn Kill

If you get Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix onto the field, you’ll be able to play several of the high-cost cards left in your deck. You can often end the match in a single turn by playing two copies of Genesis Dragon Reborn, or by evolving Mjerrabaine before playing Ruler of Cocytus. You can even play Ruler of Cocytus first and then use Fennie to make all the cards in your new "Apocalypse Deck" even cheaper to play.
Mulligan Guide for the Odd Dragoncraft
Aggressively Look for Ramp-Up Cards
This deck has very few plays in the early game, so aggressively look for Ramp-Up cards to play your 5-cost and 7-cost cards early.
Keep Followers and destroy spells Along with Ramp-Up Cards
| Keep Alongside Ramp-Up Cards | ||
|---|---|---|
Ruinbringer | Seasoned Merman | Neptune, Arbiter of Tides |
Strike of the Dragonewt | Blade of the Crestpetal | Fate of the World |
If you have any of the Ramp-Up cards listed above, keep Ruinbringer, which you'll want to Super-Evolve as early as possible. Also, keep powerful follow-up plays for after you Ramp-Up, such as Seasoned Merman, Neptune, Arbiter of Tides, or destroy spells.
