Unleash Powerful Followers With Fennie
Fennie Dragoncraft is a deck that drops wave after wave of high‑impact followers whose costs have been slashed by Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix. After deploying Fennie, activating the first mode of Getenou, Eightfold Glory lets you draw eight cost‑reduced cards at once, which enables explosive mid‑ to late‑game turns.
Fennie Dragoncraft Deck - How to Play
Deal With Followers While Ramping Up in the Early to Midgame

In the early game, play ramp cards to increase your maximum play points. It’s important to ramp so you can play Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix at any moment. Even if you don’t draw Fennie, you can still aim to win by playing high‑cost, powerful followers earlier than your opponent.
Use Sloth of the Crestpetal and Majestic Megalorca to Handle Small Followers

While ramping, use cards like Sloth of the Crestpetal and Call of the Megalorca to remove your opponent’s early followers.
Lower the Cost of your Deck with Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix

Play Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix as early as possible to reduce the cost of your entire deck. Ideally, you want to play it when there is one or fewer enemy followers that you can clear with Evolution. However, if your hand contains cards that can compensate for the tempo loss, it’s still worth playing Fennie even if the timing feels a bit risky.
Gather Reduced‑Cost Cards in Your Hand

Draw cards with Getenou, Eightfold Glory, Olivia, Heroic Dark Angel, and Gran & Djeeta to collect reduced‑cost cards in your hand. Getenou is especially powerful because it lets you discard a high‑cost card to draw eight reduced‑cost cards, so look for opportunities to play it.
Finish the Game by Repeatedly Playing Powerful Followers

Use the followers whose costs were reduced by Fennie to close out the game. Drawing Genesis Dragon Reborn or Erntz, Governing Justice often lets you end the match quickly. Until you find your damage sources, you can also buy time by building a strong field with your low‑cost followers.
Mulligan Guide for the Fennie Dragoncraft
Keep Ramp-Up Cards and 2-Cost Followers
| Ramp-Up Cards | ||
|---|---|---|
Dragonsign | Liu Feng, Goldennote Ward | |
| 2-Cost | ||
Filene, Whitefrost Bloom | Jellyfish Dancer | Sloth of the Crestpetal |
Prioritize keeping Ramp‑Up cards and 2‑Cost Followers you can play early. You want to avoid losing too much Defense Points (DP) before you can play Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix, so having early followers helps protect you and keeps the game stable.
Keep Galmieux, Ardor Manifest with Dragonsign

If you boost your Play Points with Dragonsign on turn 3, playing Galmieux, Ardor Manifest on turn 4 is a strong follow‑up that makes up for the tempo loss from Dragonsign. When going second, even without Dragonsign, you can still clear the field by playing Galmieux for 2 on turn 4 using EXP.
Keep High-Cost Cards Along with Two Ramp-Up Cards
| Keep powerful cards for after 2 Ramp-Ups | ||
|---|---|---|
Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix | Neptune, Arbiter of Tides | Wilnas, Flame Personified |
If you already have two Ramp‑Up cards, it’s also good to keep Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix, Neptune, Arbiter of Tides, or Wilnas, Flame Personified, since they become very strong after two Ramp‑Ups. This lets you play Fennie earlier than usual or recover from the tempo loss caused by Ramping.
