Build the Board, Burn 'Em Down
Earth Rite Evo Runecraft locks down the field early, then stores up Skybound Art Effects to unleash damage from Ars Magna and Sandalphon. Its Earth Rite engine makes it great at clearing threats, healing up, and keeping the board stacked.
Earth Rite Runecraft Deck - How to Play
Build Up Earth Sigils in the Early to Mid-Game

In the early game, play cards that generate Earth Sigils, such as Witch’s New Brew, to build your stack. If you can reach around 6–8 Sigils early, you’ll have an easier time playing strong Earth Rite cards like Mireille & Risette, Penitent Duo and Norman, Adamant Alchemist in the midgame.
Control the Field With Auto‑Evolution

Once you’ve built enough Earth Sigils, use the auto‑evolution effects of Edelweiss and Mireille & Risette to gain Evolutions while clearing and pressuring the field. Midgame auto‑evolutions are extremely strong, so aim for them when your stack is ready.
Norman Provides Strong Follow‑Up Pressure

After applying pressure with Mireille & Risette and other midgame plays, your opponent’s field will often be weakened. Your next move should be to follow up with Norman, Adamant Alchemist to summon two Guardian Golems. When you reach 6 play points, look for opportunities to push field pressure.
Rebuild Your Sigils for the Late Game

After using your Earth Sigils on strong mid-game plays, rebuild your Earth Sigil stack by Super-Evolving Penelope, Potions Prodigy, or by using Cagliostro, Genius Alchemist, Melvie, Adoring Witch, or Sagelight Teachings. By accumulating your stack to around 6-8, it becomes easier to get Lilanthim, Anathema of Edacity on the field.
After spending Sigils on your midgame plays, rebuild your stack through Super‑Evolving Penelope, Potions Prodigy or by using Cagliostro, Genius Alchemist, Melvie, Adoring Witch, or Sagelight Teachings. Reaching around 6–8 Sigils again makes it easier to play Lilanthim, Anathema of Edacity.
Build Evolution Count Alongside Sigils

While rebuilding Sigils, you should also increase your evolution count using cards like Gran & Djeeta (when their Skybound Art is ready) or Cagliostro. This helps Invoke Sandalphon, Primarch Successor and activate Super Skybound Arts in your hand.
Play Lilanthim and Pressure the Leader

Once you have enough Earth Sigils, play Lilanthim and use it to chip away at the enemy Leader if it stays on the field. As a guideline, a stack of 6 usually keeps it alive, and a stack of 8–10 helps it survive even against decks with strong destroy effects.
Gain Infinite Resources with Cagliostro

When Cagliostro’s Super Skybound Art is active, she adds an Ars Magna to your hand each turn. With Ars Magna, you can continuously deal burn damage and restore your defense, gradually creating a resource and defense gap.
Win Long Games Through Resource Advantage
In the very late game, focus on developing your board to force your opponent to spend cards and Evolution Points. Earth Rite Runecraft can gain a resource advantage through Lilanthim or Cagliostro’s Super Skybound Art, and the deck has abundant destroy, restore, and draw effects, giving it strong endurance in long matches
Use Raio Against Late‑Game Decks

Against opponents with strong late‑game plans, play Raio, Elimination Manifest to widen the gap in how many followers you can develop each turn. Reduced‑cost cards let you create a powerful field repeatedly, helping you keep pace or pull ahead
Finish With Sandalphon’s Super Skybound Art

When your opponent runs out of resources and can no longer develop their board, finish the game with Sandalphon’s Super Skybound Art. Super‑Evolving a Lilanthim that remains on the field, or playing it while clearing the board with Edelweiss or Alchemic Flare, is a strong closing sequence.
Mulligan Guide for the Earth Rite Runecraft
Keep Low-Cost Earth Sigil Generators
It’s recommended to keep one or two cards that generate an Earth Sigil, as playing them early helps you cycle your deck and set up stronger mid‑ to late‑game plays.
When Going Second, Keep Removal
| Keep If Going 2nd | |
|---|---|
Alchemic Flare | Enchanting Perfumer |
When going second, you’ll often need to break your opponent’s early board and protect your own DP, so it’s useful to keep Alchemic Flare for turns 2–3 and Enchanting Perfumer, which can clear up to three followers when evolved.
Keep Mid‑Cost Cards Alongside Low‑Cost Ones
| Skybound Art | |
|---|---|
Cagliostro, Genius Alchemist | Gran & Djeeta, Valiant Skyfarers |
| Removal | |
Edelweiss, Sagelight Ward | Enchanting Perfumer |
| Board Presence | |
Mireille & Risette, Penitent Duo | Norman, Adamant Alchemist |
If you already have 1–2 Earth Sigil generators, you should also keep these cards for the midgame.
In Mirror Matches, Keep Lilanthim

In mirror matches, the player who plays Lilanthim first gains a major advantage, so keep Lilanthim together with your Earth Sigil generators.
Against Decks with Strong Late-Game Boards, Keep Raio

Against late‑game board‑dominant decks like Mode Abysscraft or Evo Swordcraft, keep Raio. Playing Raio helps you answer their large boards and makes your follow‑up turns smoother, allowing you to stay even or pull ahead.
Against Decks with a Time Limit, Keep Sandalphon

Against OTK decks that win if the game drags on, such as Rhinoceroach Forestcraft, Izudia Forestcraft, and Evo Abysscraft, keep Sandalphon so you can reduce the opponent’s Defense early and avoid being outpaced.
