Dominant Board Presence and Reliable Finishers
Midrange Abysscraft builds a strong field from early to mid-game, and in the late game, it leverages field advantage to finish the opponent with Odin, Twilit Fate and Cerberus, Hellfire Unleashed. Its high offensive power makes it especially effective against Combo decks.
Mid-range Abysscraft Deck - How to Play
Continue to Swarm the Field

In the early game, play Ghastly Soiree and Mino, Shrewd Reaper to keep followers on your side of the field and attack the enemy leader.
Gain Tempo with Removal Followers

Use removal followers like Baal, Elemental Resonance, Supplicant, and Vuella, the Blastwing to clear enemy followers. This deck’s strength lies in keeping followers on the board so that you can chip away at the enemy's defense points.
Build a Field While Evolving and Going Face

From the evolution turns onward, evolve a follower that remains on the field to strike the enemy leader, all the while adding Congregant of Entwining, Aragavy, Eternal Hunter, and Undead Soldier to pressure your opponent.
Take Back the Field with Aragavy and Supplicant

When you’re behind on board and has no remaining followers on the field, Aragavy, Eternal Hunter or a Supplicant can swing the game back in your favor. Both excel at clearing enemy followers, and their strong post-evolution stats let you clear the opponent’s field.
Deplete Resources with Rulenye and Undead Soldier

In the mid-game, playing Rulenye’s Scream Diffusion or Undead Soldier helps you gain an EP advantage by forcing opponents to overcommit in anticipation of Cerberus, Hellfire Unleashed.
Finish with Storm or Cerberus, Hellfire Unleashed

In the late game, capitalize on the pressure you’ve built and close out with heavy finishers like Odin, Twilit Fate, or Cerberus, Hellfire Unleashed
Mulligan Guide for the Mid-range Abysscraft
Keep Low-Cost Cards in the Early Game
In the early game, it's important to maintain tempo by developing a board of followers, so prioritize keeping low-cost cards. You can safely keep all 2-cost cards except Rage of Serpents. However, if your opening hand includes Mino, Shrewd Reaper or Ghastly Soiree, it's a good idea to redraw Devious Lesser Mummy.
Keep Strong Mid-Game Cards if Early Turns Are Covered
If your plays for turns 2–4 are secured, it’s also advisable to keep one or two strong cards for the mid to late game.
