Buff the Wards, Build the Wall
Ward Havencraft is a deck that buffs Wards to create a powerful field using the Crest from Wilbert, Desolate Paladin. With most of its cards being Ward Followers, the deck offers a tanky and strong board presence throughout the match.
Ward Havencraft Deck - How to Play
Hold Off and Prepare in the Early Game

Ward Havencraft becomes especially strong once Wilbert, Desolate Paladin is played. In the early turns, focus on preparing by playing low‑cost followers and amulets to set up your hand and field
Buff Your Team with Sofina

Sofina can evolve and enhance Ward followers played on turns 2–3. This not only strengthens your early field but also charges the Skybound Art gauge of cards in your hand, giving you more options later.
Grant Marwynn's Crest

Marwynn’s Crest lets you deal steady damage every turn, which adds up quickly. The Torrent of Despair you gain from the Fanfare is a strong 2‑cost removal spell, and it becomes even better when used with Sandalphon’s Super Skybound Art.
Play Wilbert

Once you play and evolve Wilbert, every Ward follower you play afterwards will get a stat boost. To get the most out of him, try to have Amulets like Pact of the Beast Princess already on the field to help him out.
Create an Unstoppable Wall

After Wilbert is in play, use Aether, Empyrean Guardian to create a high‑stat Ward lineup. When you super‑evolve Aether, all your Ward followers gain +1/+4 and Aura. Combined with Wilbert’s Crest effect, this forms a powerful wall of defenders that’s very hard for your opponent to break through.
Reinforce with Jeanne or Olivia

Your enhanced Ward followers will often stay on the field. Push for damage by adding more strength with Olivia, Heroic Dark Angel or Jeanne, Saintly Knight.
Seal the Game with Vira

Vira is a game-winner if your opponent can't find a way to stop her. If you play her when her Super Skybound Art is ready, especially when your opponent has used up all their Evolution Points (EP), it becomes almost impossible for them to remove her from the field.
End with Sandalphon

If your followers can’t finish the game, aim for lethal with Sandalphon. Thanks to Sofina, charging the Skybound Art gauge is now easier, so Sandalphon can close out matches earlier than before.
Mulligan Guide for the Ward Havencraft
Keep Serene Sanctuary and Key Crest Cards
Grimnir, Heavenly Gale is worth keeping because he sets up your Super‑Evolution turn. Marwynn, Despair Manifest can stall when you don’t have other plays, while Wilbert, Desolate Paladin powers up your Ward followers once he’s on the field. These three are strong enough to keep individually, and Serene Sanctuary is especially useful as a draw card to help you find them.
Keep Aether as a Set

If you already have Serene Sanctuary and a crest card, it’s a good idea to keep Aether, Empyrean Guardian as well. Playing Aether after Wilbert’s Crest is one of the strongest moves in this deck, so aim to hold cards that let you set up that play.
Handling Crowded Enemy Fields

If you’re facing a deck that likes to play a lot of small units quickly, keep Salefa, Guardian of Water. By evolving Salefa, you can take down multiple enemies at once and take back control of the match. This is the best way to deal with "wide" teams like Puppet Portalcraft or Oluon Swordcraft.
