Control the Field with Puppets
Puppet Portalcraft is a powerful deck that excels at early-game board swarming and transitions into the late-game with a viable damage source. Card Set 4 adds Beelzebub, Supreme King, bringing with it the firepower to consistently close out matches against slower decks.
Puppet Portalcraft Deck - How to Play
Develop Followers while Controlling the Field with Puppetry

In the early game, play low-cost followers to develop your field, and use the Puppets added to your hand to destroy the opponent's field.
Destroy with Puppetry and Attack the Leader with Followers
By using Puppetry to destroy, the Followers you played in the early game can more easily attack the Leader, and here if you can damage the Leader, it becomes easier to aim for lethal with Orchis, Newfound Heart.
Pressure the Field with Zwei or Noah in the Mid-Game

By playing Zwei or Noah, you can destroy without using an EP, while forcing your opponent to use strong removal or an EP. Saving your EP will give you more options in the late game.
Chip Away Damage with Odin When You Have an Opening

Odin, Twilit Fate is a valuable source of Damage. Attacking the Leader before playing Orchis, Newfound Heart makes it dramatically easier for Orchis' next plays to be successful. It's also an excellent finisher that doesn't require an EP after both players have run out.
Attack by Super-Evolving Orchis, Newfound Heart

Once you have enough damage in your hand to finish them off, Super-Evolve Orchis, Newfound Heart and attack the enemy leader using Storm Puppets. By saving up Puppets in your hand, you can clear their field while dealing a large amount of damage.
Play Beelzebub, Supreme King Against Slower Decks

If your opponent is using a deck that can heal, play Beelzebub, Supreme King to increase your damage output before attacking with Orchis, Newfound Heart. This allows you to hit harder, and make it hard for your opponent's healing to keep up.
Mulligan Guide for the Puppet Portalcraft
Keep Lovestruck Puppeteer, Eudie, and Orchis
Lovestruck Puppeteer and Eudie stabilize the board early against any matchup, so they’re always worth keeping. Meanwhile, Orchis is a must‑keep win that can close out matches. Even without other cheap cards in hand, it would be fine to hold them since this deck is already packed with low‑cost options.
Keep Two Low‑Cost Cards Plus a Midgame Card
If your opening hand already has 2‑ or 3‑cost followers to cover the early turns, you can also keep a card that you can play in the midgame, like Zwei or Noah. Both cards provide removal without spending EP and can pressure the opponent to spend their own EP.
Keep Removal Cards Depending on Your Matchup
Keep Puppet Theater when facing decks that flood the board with cheap followers during the early game. Keep Phildau, Lionheart Ward against decks that drop big threats around turns 4–5. More importantly, match your removal to the opponent’s curve so that you don’t fall behind on tempo.
