A Deck of Destruction and Direct Damage

Disdain Dragoncraft is a deck that excels at controlling the board while also applying pressure directly to your opponent. It uses powerful removal and damage effects to keep the field clear, then finishes the game with a powerful suite of late-game threats that can easily overwhelm defenses.

Storm Dragoncraft Deck - How to Play

Play Followers and Ramp‑Up in the Early Game

In the early turns, focus on playing your low‑cost followers and Dragonsign.

Use Your Mid‑Cost Cards Based on the Situation

From turns 4–7, before you can Super‑Evolve, use your mid‑cost cards depending on what the opponent is doing. If their side is weak, pressure them with Forte, Blackwing Dragoon. If they’ve put many followers on the field, use Galmieux, Ardor Manifest or Seasoned Merman to take control back.

Collect Your Free Spells with Galmieux

:p:Play Galmieux, Ardor Manifest in the middle of the match to add Fangs of Ardent Destruction to your hand. Try to save these spells for as long as you can. They cost 0 points and are perfect for clearing a full board, boosting Azurifrit's damage, or making your next Galmieux even more dangerous.

Overwhelm the Opposition with Heavy Hitters

In the late game, it’s time to unleash your big cards like Neptune, Arbiter of Tides, Garyu, Fabled Dragonkin, and Azurifrit, Heir to Disdain. Use them to gain command of the field and wear down your opponent’s DP.

Know When to Use Your SEP (Super-Evolution Point)

Many of Dragoncraft’s high‑cost cards need a Super‑Evolution to shine. If you spend your SEP too early, you may not have enough power to finish the game. Neptune and Garyu can still apply strong pressure without using your SEP when the opponent’s side is weak. Knowing when to hold your SEP and when to spend it will raise your win rate.

Mulligan Guide for the Storm Dragoncraft

Keep Dragonsign and 2-Cost Followers

Dragonsign is your top priority, and keeping at least one 2‑cost follower helps you stay safe against early aggression.

Keep a 2‑Cost, Dragonsign, and a 5‑Cost Card Together

By keeping a 2-cost follower, Dragonsign, and a 5-cost follower together, you guarantee a better flow for turns 2 through 4, and sets you up with a massive lead on the field.

Going 2nd, Keep One Card to Play on Turn 4

When going second, it’s strong to keep one card you can evolve on turn 4, like Seasoned Merman or Galmieux. Keeping more than one often leaves you with no other cards to play early, so stick to just one copy.
