Both Players Have 2 SEPs

Various Effects are Granted

A follower that has Super-Evolved gets +3/+3 to its attack/defense instead of +2/+2, and also gains several other effects.

In Worlds Beyond, the Bonus Play Point is a new feature alongside Super-Evolution. Only the player going second can use it, and it allows them to increase their Play Points for the turn it's used.
Gain +1 Play Point for the Turn
For the turn you use a Bonus Play Point, your Play Points are increased by 1. For example, if you have 4 Play Points and use a Bonus Play Point, you can play a 5-cost card.

Number of EP and Evolution Specs
Minor Adjustments to Evolution

In Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond, the conventional Evolution has also been adjusted, with changes to things like the amount of EP (Evolution Points) and stats upon Evolution.
Both Players Now Have 2 EP

In the original Shadowverse, the player going second had 3 EP, but in Worlds Beyond, the player going second also has 2 EP. Since both players also have 2 SEPs, the difference in the number of EP between the first and second player has been eliminated.
Stats After Evolution Fixed
In the original Shadowverse, post-Evolution stats were set for each follower. However, in Worlds Beyond, all followers now get +2/+2 when they Evolve.
Starting Hand Size
Starting Hand Size Increased from 3 to 4

In the original Shadowverse, the starting hand size was 3 cards, but in Worlds Beyond, the starting hand size is 4 cards, and you can replace all 4 cards at the start of the match.
Both Players Draw 1 Card on Turn 1
In the original Shadowverse, the first player drew 1 card on turn 1 and the second player drew 2, but in Worlds Beyond, this has been changed so the second player also draws 1 card, and there is no difference in starting hand size between the first and second player.
