A Budget Artifact Portalcraft Deck

Free-to-play Portalcraft is a budget Artifact Portalcraft Deck with a reduced creation Cost. The main difference from the original version is the absence of Orchis, Newfound Heart, so the Artifact-related plays are the same, and it boasts a Deck power that's unbelievable for a budget Deck.

Free-To-Play Portalcraft - How to Play

Collect Gears in the Early Game

Gear of AmbitionGear of AmbitionGear of RemembranceGear of Remembrance

In the early game, play cards that add Gears to your hand, and aim to create Ominous Artifacts first.

Creat Ominous Artifact γ First

Ominous Artifact γ is a powerful field-clearing card created by fusing a 3-cost Artifact with another 3-cost Artifact. Around turns 5 and 6, you'll often want to use an exact copy of Ominous Artifact γ, so it's recommended to create Ominous γ by fusing first.

Use Copies of Artifacts

This deck's ultimate goal is to create a Masterwork Artifact by fusing the three types of Ominous Artifacts (α, β, and γ). Therefore, instead of playing Ominous Artifacts directly, use cards that summon copies of Artifacts from your hand to get Ominous Artifacts onto the field.

Alouette is Powerful on Turns 5 and 6

Alouette, Doomwright Ward adds two Gears to your hand and can summon an copy of one Artifact to the field by evolving, making it powerful because it combines collecting Gears, field pressure, and removal.

Fuse 3 Ominous Artifacts for Late Game

In the mid-game, focus on creating the Ominous Artifacts you're missing in preparation for Ralmia, Sonic Boom or Masterwork Artifact on turn 8 and onwards.

Apply Strong Field Pressure with Ralmia

Image Ralmia, Sonic Boom

Ralmia, Sonic Boom is the deck's ace card, able to make exact copies of up to 3 Artifacts. It creates a very strong field, and since it can handle field removal, restore health, and deal Damage to the opponent leader, playing it before Masterwork Artifact means victory is just around the corner.

When You Don't Have Ralmia

This deck only has a few copies of Ralmia, so there will be times you don't draw it. Use Doomwright Resurgence instead of Ralmia, Sonic Boom to make 2 copies of Artifacts, or draw cards with Leah, Bellringer Angel and Sylvia, Garden Executioner.

Complete the Masterwork Artifact

Finally, fuse the 3 Ominous Artifacts and finish the opponent off with the 10 damage from the Masterwork Artifact. To ensure you can win with Masterwork Artifact's Storm, attacking the enemy leader with your followers along the way, and dealing Damage to the leader with Ominous Artifact β is recommended.
