Evo Mid-range Abysscraft Deck - How to Play
Get Your Followers Out Early

In the early game, you’ll want to start filling your side of the field with followers. Playing cards like Ghastly Soiree is a smart move because it gives you three cards for the price of one, allowing you to get followers into the fight without running out of cards in your hand.
Rotting Zombies Are Hard to Shake

The Rotting Zombie you get from Ghastly Soiree is a follower that is very hard for your opponent to take down. It stays on the field, so it's always a threat on your opponent’s DP. Play it when your opponent is struggling so you can keep wearing down their defense.
Take Back Control with Supplicant or Aragavy

If your opponent gets ahead, you can catch up using Supplicant of Entwining or Aragavy. Evolving Supplicant lets you remove an enemy follower and heal at the same time, while Aragavy can wipe out an entire row of small followers. Choose based on what the situation calls for.
Use Fickle Necromancer to Stay Ahead

If you already have followers on your side, evolving Fickle Necromancer is a strong alternative to Supplicant. It summons a Rotting Zombie and puts three followers on the field at once, helping you set up a strong position for Nehan or Cerberus later.
Crowd the Field Using Undead Soldier

Playing Undead Soldier when your opponent’s side is empty is a fantastic way to use this deck’s strengths. By filling your side with Rotting Zombies that are tough to clear, you create the perfect setup for Nehan and Cerberus to power up your team.
Use Nehan to Strike the Enemy Leader

If you still have followers on the field, Nehan lets you evolve them and deal a big burst of damage to the opponent’s leader. If Nehan is in your hand, saving your Ghosts and Skeletons means you can evolve followers and attack even when your field is empty.
Control the Match with Fediel

Later in the game, play Fediel to put a massive threat on your side of the field. This card puts pressure on your opponent while also helping you clear their followers and build up your evolution count. It’s a solid card that sets the stage perfectly for both Cerberus and Sandalphon.
Wear Them Down with Cerberus

If you still have followers on your side, use Cerberus to keep hitting the enemy leader. She boosts the strength of everyone on your side and can bring back a 1-cost follower from the grave. You can deal a huge amount of damage by bringing back Mimi for an extra attack.
Finish the Match with Sandalphon

In the final turns, use your other cards to keep the field clear and wait for your opponent to run out of steam. Once their guard is down, play Sandalphon to land the winning blow.
Mulligan Guide for the Evo Mid-range Abysscraft
Keep Low-Cost Cards
Play your low‑cost followers early so you don’t fall behind. Ghastly Soiree and Fickle Necromancer are especially good keeps because they put multiple followers on the field with a single card, and gives you a strong start without draining your hand.
Going Second? Look for Ways to Stay Healthy
If you're going second against a fast deck like Swordcraft or another Abysscraft player, hold onto Gilnelise or Supplicant of Entwining alongside your early followers. You'll want these cards to heal your leader and clear the field so you don't get overwhelmed before you can start your own big plays.
Keep Aragavy to Stop Your Opponent from Swarming

If you’re facing a deck that likes to flood the field with lots of followers, like Oluon Swordcraft or Tempo Forestcraft, make sure to keep Aragavy, Eternal Hunter. This card is amazing at clearing out a whole row of small followers, which lets you take back charge of the match instantly.
How to Counter the Evo Mid-range Abysscraft
Deal With Followers Played in the Early Game

Reanimate Abysscraft will try to chip away at your defense by playing Skeletons and Rotting Zombies from the early game. Deal with them by playing your own followers or removing them with spells, while being careful not to let your defense get too low.
Remove Fickle Necromancer Before It Can Evolve

Fickle Necromancer is a follower with a powerful evolution effect. If left on the field, it can make a powerful play where it will evolve, chip away at your defense, and summon a Rotting Zombie, so be sure to prioritize removing it.
Create a Field That Is Difficult for Fediel To Clear

It is also important to create a field that is difficult for Fediel, Darkness Personified to clear. Followers with Intimidate and followers placed behind a Ward follower are difficult for Fediel to remove. Also, followers with high defense cannot be removed by the follower summoned by Fediel or by Fediel's effect.
Don’t Leave Followers on the Opponent’s Field

Reanimate Abysscraft is a deck that excels at swarming the board, but if you leave their followers on the field, they can be evolved or buffed by Nehan, Dispenser of Samsara or Cerberus, Hellfire Unleashed, and your leader's defense will be significantly reduced. Always make sure to clear your opponent's field.
Calculate the Turn Super Skybound Art Will Activate

Super Skybound Art cannot be activated if the total of your evolution count and the opponent's turn count is 14 or less. If your calculations show that the total will not reach 15, even including evolutions during the current turn, you don't need to worry about playing around the activation of Sandalphon, Primarch Successor's Super Skybound Art.
Play Multiple Followers on the Activation Turn
On the turn that Super Skybound Art activates, deal with it by playing multiple followers onto the field. By deploying as many followers as you can, even those with low defense, they can take the damage for your leader, minimizing the overall harm.
