Aggro Abysscraft Deck - How to Play

Play Followers Early and Start Attacking Right Away

Play followers from turn 1 and use any followers that stay on the field to keep attacking the enemy leader. If your opponent plays followers, remove them with cards like Baal, Elemental Resonance, or Aragavy, Eternal Hunter so you can continue attacking safely.

Attack with Sticky Followers and Powerful Storm

As you keep playing followers, it becomes easier to deal damage each turn. This also increases Exella, Nocturnal General’s damage, and you can aim for big burst turns by buffing your followers with Vuella, the Blastwing.

Remove Enemy Followers and Keep Attacking in the Mid‑Game

Use Aragavy, Eternal Hunter to remove enemy followers while continuing to lower the opponent’s defense. When evolved, Aragavy deals 3 damage to both leaders, and its 6 attack makes it easy to trade into most followers that try to remove it.

Finish the Game with Big Storm Followers

Odin, Twilit Fate is a great finisher that can hit through a single Ward follower. Try to push the opponent’s DP low enough that Odin can close out the game. Rulenye & Valnareik is also a strong finisher, as it can attack for 8 damage.

You Can Also Aim for a Finish with Burn Spells

Tyrannical Fists and Rage of Serpents deal 3 damage to the enemy leader for just 2 PP. Since they deal damage even if the opponent has Ward, they’re excellent for finishing the game.

Mulligan Guide for the Aggro Abysscraft

Keep followers you want to play in the early game

Since you want to play followers every turn starting from turn 1, it’s best to keep 1–3 cost cards you can play early.

Keep mid-cost cards if you have low-cost ones

Exella, Nocturnal GeneralExella, Nocturnal GeneralAragavy, Eternal HunterAragavy, Eternal Hunter

If you already have a solid plan for turns 1–3, it’s also good to keep these stronger mid‑cost cards. Exella gives you a powerful Storm finisher, and Aragavy provides strong removal.

Keep Fickle Necromancer when going second

When going second, keep Fickle Necromancer for its evolve ability. When it creates a Rotting Zombie, it becomes harder for your opponent to clear your entire field, and that makes it easier for you to keep attacking the enemy leader.

How to Counter the Aggro Abysscraft

Fight for the Field Early

Destroy enemy followers immediately to save your health. You need to stop them from overwhelming you with fast attacks like "Storm"or damaging spells. Since this opponent hits very hard and very fast, keeping your leader's health high from the start is the key to winning.

Destroy Fickle Necromancer Immediately

Fickle Necromancer has a very dangerous Evolution effect. If you leave him on the board, he can Evolve to deal damage to you while summoning a Zombie for free. Make sure you destroy him before he gets the chance.

Position Your Followers Against Aragavy

Aragavy deals 7 damage spread across your followers, starting from the left side. If your army has a total of 8 or more health, place your strongest follower on the far right. This way, the followers on the left take the damage first, giving the one on the right a better chance to survive.

Heal Up to Survive Surprise Spells

The opponent often uses "Rage of Serpents" and "Tyrannical Fists" at the end of the game. These spells deal 3 damage directly to you. Always heal your leader to stay out of range of these sudden 3-damage attacks.

Fill the Board to Stop Fast Attacks

By putting many followers on your side of the field, you make it harder for "Storm" enemies like Odin and Rulenye to hit your leader. Having a full team protects your health, and it also puts you in a good position to attack back and win if they ignore your army.

Watch Out for Ghost Combos

Ghosts can deal massive damage if they are powered up by Vuella or Exella. Try to remember how many Ghosts the opponent has added to their hand so you aren't caught off guard.

Attack When They Are Weak

Aggro Abysscraft hurts itself to use powerful cards ("Self-Damage") and has very little healing. If their side of the table is empty, attack their leader! By lowering their health, you make it too dangerous for them to play their Self-Damage cards like Tyrannical Fists, effectively locking them out of the game.
