Auto-Evolve Tempo with Optional Skybound Finisher
Evolution Abysscraft builds pressure with auto-evolve cards and sets up Belial’s Super Skybound Art for a big finish. But even without the full combo, its mid-range plays hit hard and keep the board locked down.
Evolved Abysscraft Deck - How to Play
Set Up Reanimate Targets

In the early turns, develop your board with cards like Mino, Shrewd Reaper, Ghastly Soiree, and Winged Servants while preparing 1‑ and 2‑cost followers in the cemetery for Fediel, Darkness Personified.
Double Bat Drain

:p: If no 2‑cost followers are available, Fediel’s Reanimate (2) defaults to 1‑cost targets. If Bat is your only 1‑cost follower, you can summon two copies and drain 6 defense.
Draw Into Your Super Skybound Art Finishers

While developing your board, look for opportunities to trigger the draw effects of Gran & Djeeta, Valiant Skyfarers or Screaming and Loathing. These effects help you dig toward your key finishers: Belial, Archangel of Cunning, Sandalphon, Primarch Successor, and additional copies of Gran & Djeeta. From the mid‑game onward, prepare to fuel your Skybound Art with automatic evolutions.
Rack Up Evolutions with Fediel and Nehan

In the mid‑game, use Nehan and Fediel to rapidly increase your evolution count while maintaining a strong board. When playing Nehan, Dispenser of Samsara, keep Skeletons or Bats in hand to deploy and evolve in sequence to create a combo move.
Consider Overwhelming with Your Field
As your evolution count rises, leveraging your expanded board presence forces opponents into a defensive posture and also opens them up for direct attacks, and finally sets up a clean finish with Sandalphon.
Activate Belial's Super Skybound Art to Buy Time

Once Belial’s Super Skybound Art is active, your win condition is already in motion. Focus on surviving with removal and sustain until the Crest’s countdown reaches 0. Use Fediel, Darkness Personified to wipe enemy boards, or rely on Drain from Bat and Nehan, Dispenser of Samsara..
Save Super-Evolution If You Have a Second Belial
If you hold a second copy of Belial, Archangel of Cunning, consider saving a Super‑Evolution point. Super‑evolving Belial advances the Crest’s countdown by 1, which shaves a full turn off your lethal clock. By timing this when the Crest is at 1, you can ambush an opponent who assumes they have one more turn and close the game out instantly.
Finish with Sandalphon While Pushing the Field

If Belial's Super Skybound Art isn't ready, or if you've managed to push the field and lower the enemy's defense by the mid-game, consider finishing the match with Sandalphon, Primarch Successor. Since using Nehan or Fediel guarantees he will be Invoked into your hand, try to build up his Super Skybound Art by around turn 10.
Evolve Ghosts with Shadowcrypt Memorial

When setting up a finish with Sandalphon, Primarch Successor, one of the best moves is to evolve either your remaining followers on board or the Ghosts summoned by Shadowcrypt Memorial using Nehan, Dispenser of Samsara. Evolving Ghosts not only pressures the enemy leader directly but also maximizes your evolution count for Sandalphon’s payoff.
Clear the Board with Gran & Djeeta or Mukan

To secure Sandalphon’s finishing turn, you’ll often need to wipe opposing threats. Mukan, Shadowcrypt Ward and Gran & Djeeta, Valiant Skyfarers are ideal tools here, as they can remove two enemy cards with the 4 spare play points available on a 10‑PP Sandalphon turn. Even more devastating, Engaging Shadowcrypt Memorial alongside Mukan enables up to 4 total destructions in a single turn, ensuring the path is clear for your lethal swing.
Mulligan Guide for the Evolved Abysscraft
Keep Token-Creating Cards by Themselves
In the opening turns, prioritize token‑creating cards that generate Bats, Skeletons, and Ghosts. These tokens can later be auto‑Evolved with Nehan, Dispenser of Samsara or Reanimated and Evolved with Fediel, Darkness Personified. Even without synergy, they provide strong tempo to contest the board early.
Pair Tokens with Evolution Enablers
Alongside token generators, it’s often the best way to keep Fediel and Nehan, who convert those tokens into rapid Evolution gains. Whether you hold them depends on your curve, but together they form the core of your evolution engine.
Resource Cards Can Also Be Kept
Beyond token synergy, keep draw engines like Gran & Djeeta and Screaming and Loathing. This deck thrives on racking up Evolutions while holding a Super Skybound Art finisher, so drawing into your Super Skybound Art cards early is critical.
Keep Belial if You Have Early to Mid-Game Plays

If your hand already covers early to mid‑game plays, you can keep Belial to set up an early Super Skybound Art activation.
