On Par with the Original
Free-to-play Swordcraft is a low-budget Deck that can be played similarly to Mid-Range Swordcraft. Despite being a budget Deck, you can expect its early game board development to have power on par with the original Deck.
Free-to-Play Swordcraft - How to Play
Line Up Low-cost Followers in the Early Game
Before your Evolution turns, develop your board with Followers you can play from your hand. Try to make trades that leave as many of your Followers on the board as possible.
Evolve Zirconia, Ironcrown Ward

Evolving Zirconia, Ironcrown Ward around turn 4 or 5 is extremely powerful. Aim to play in a way that buffs as many Followers as possible.
Set Up With Ambush and Kagemitsu, Enduring Warrior

Starting around turn 6, prepare for your finisher on your Super-Evolution turn and beyond. Playing Valse, Silent Sniper or Shinobi Squirrel in Ambush to set up for a massive attack on your Super-Evolution turn is a powerful strategy.
Aim for the Finish by Dealing Damage From Your Hand

Attack with Storm cards like Odin, Twilit Fate and Albert, Levin Stormsaber. In particular, Odin, Twilit Fate can reliably deal damage while bypassing Ward, so it's easy and powerful to attack with it alongside your Ambush followers.
Mulligan Guide for the Free-to-Play Swordcraft
Keep Low-Cost Cards and Zirconia, Ironcrown Ward
Keep 1- and 2-cost Followers to be aggressive from the early game. Prim, Princess's Picnic is a top priority card to keep, as a single copy can stabilize your plays for multiple turns. Also, Zirconia, Ironcrown Ward is also a strong play on turns 4 and 5, so we recommend keeping it.
Keep Low-Cost Cards and Finishers as a Set
If you have drawn multiple cards for your early game plays, you should also keep finishers like Albert, Levin Stormsaber or Odin, Twilit Fate. This Deck runs a low number of finishers, so it's recommended to keep them whenever possible.
