How to Use Giant Cape

Boosts Maximum HP

Giant Cape is a Pokemon Tool that increases the maximum HP (and remaining HP) by 20. While its effect is essentially the same as Potion, it allows the Pokemon to survive attacks that would otherwise knock it out, making this card potentially impactful in the current meta.

Giant Cape Pros and Cons

Helps Pokemon Survive Fatal Attacks

When Giant Cape is attached to a Pokemon, its maximum HP increases by 20, and its HP is restored by that amount. The biggest advantage is that it allows the Pokemon to survive an attack that would otherwise knock it out.

Difference Compared to Potion

When used alone, it is almost a direct upgrade over Potion. However, it cannot be used on Pokemon that already have a Tool attached, and it does not counter Cyrus. Carefully consider which one to include in your deck.
