Eelektross Deck - Pros / Cons

  1. Strong Paralyze effect for Eelektross
  2. Can attack from the early game
  3. Stage 2 attackers often face bad hands

Strong Paralyze Effect For Eelektross

  1. Eelektross

Eelektross's Attack can deal 80 damage while also having a 50% chance to Paralyze the opponent. A Pokemon that is Paralyzed cannot attack or retreat for one turn, so if things go well, you might be able to take them down without letting them do anything.

Can Attack From The Early Game

  1. Tynamo
  2. Eelektrik
  3. Zapdos ex

Tynamo, Eelektrik, and Zapdos ex can all attack with just one Energy, allowing you to strike the opponent's Pokemon early on. This is particularly effective against Pokemon weak to Lightning Type.

Stage 2 Attackers Often Faces Bad Hands

Eelektross is a Stage 2 Pokemon, which means it needs to evolve from Tynamo. If you can't draw Eelektrik or Eelektross, you may find yourself getting Knocked Out before you can evolve, which is a disadvantage for Stage 2 Pokemon cards.

Eelektross Deck Strategy

  1. Fight Using Zapdos ex or Kangaskhan at Early Game
  2. Prepare Tynamo on Bench
  3. Fight Using Eelektross at End Game
Fight Using Zapdos ex or Kangaskhan at Early Game
  1. Zapdos ex
  2. Kangaskhan

Use Zapdos ex or Kangaskhan which can use move with 1 energy early game. Tynamo also has 1 energy move but it only has 30 HP so putting it on the bench is recommended.

Prepare Tynamo on Bench
  1. Tynamo
  2. Eelektrik
  3. Eelektross

Evolve bench Tynamo to Eelektross. Make sure to attach energy every turn so it can use moves right after it evolves.

Fight Using Eelektross at End Game
  1. Eelektross
  2. Potion

Once Eelektross is ready put the Pokemon on the active spot. Eelektross will be fighting mostly so use Potion to heal to keep Eelektross from getting knocked out.

Using Zapdos ex is an Option
  1. Zapdos ex

During the end game, using Zapdos ex's Thunder Hurricane is an option. Use this option when you can't prepare Eelektross or when you need to deal more than 100 damage.
