Confused Effects

Attack Fails If You Get Tails

Confused is one of the special conditions. After deciding which attack to use, the player must flip a coin. If it lands on heads, they can use that Attack, but if it lands on tails, the Attack fails and their turn ends.

What Happens When Confused

1.Pokemon gets Confused during the opponent's turn
2.Use Attack on your turn
3.Flip a coin: if it's heads, you can use the Attack; if it's tails, it fails
4.Your turn ends

If You Fail, the Turn Ends

If you get tails on the coin toss, the Attack fails and your turn ends.

You Can Still Retreat

Even if a Pokemon is Confused, it can still use Retreat.

Overlaps with Other Special Conditions

Confusion can overlap with Poison and Burn. However, if a Pokemon is inflicted with "Asleep" or "Paralyzed," only the newly inflicted special condition remains

How to Cure Confusion

  1. Recover by Leaving Active Spot
  2. Recovers When Pokemon Evolves
  3. Cards with Curing Effects are Not Yet Implemented

Recover by Leaving Active Spot

A confused Pokemon can recover from Confusion by leaving the Active Spot and returning to the Bench.

Recovers When Pokemon Evolves

A confused Pokemon can also recover from Confusion by evolving.

Cards with Curing Effects are Not Yet Implemented

At this time, no cards that can cure special conditions have been implemented. But they may be added in the future, so stay tuned for updates.
