New Booster Pack Latest Information

New Sets of Booster Packs Are Coming!

According to the official X account of Pokemon TCG Pocket, a new set of Booster Packs is arriving this month! While the exact release date has not been confirmed yet, the Booster Pack is guaranteed to launch this month, as stated in their official announcement.

New Booster Pack Coming Around January 30?

As of January 8, all Promo cards added after the release of "Mythical Island" are obtainable. Since the previous series was released shortly after all its Promos were available, it's safe to assume that the release date for the new booster pack is approaching soon.

Purchase Deadline for Limited Items on January 30

The purchase deadlines for "Natural Foliage (Backdrop)" and "Pokemon Coin (Erika) + Bonuses A" in the shop are set for January 30. If these items are replaced, the new Booster Pack is likely to release on Thursday, January 30 along with the item replacement.

Past Booster Packs Released in 1.5 Months

Currently, the Booster Pack release cycle in Pokemon TCG Pocket has been about a month and a half. Since the last "Mythical Island" was released in mid-December, if the same pace is followed, the next release would be expected at the end of January to early February.

May be Big Booster Pack with Many Cards

According to the official announcement in November 2024, the Trade feature is also scheduled to release in January 2025. Since this is a major update, the new Booster Pack might also be a large one, similar to "Genetic Apex (A1)", with around 200 new cards being introduced.

Players online Hoping for a Gold-Silver Themed Booster Pack

On social media, there is talk that since A1 focused on the original "Red/Green" Pokemon, A2 might focus on the next generation's "Gold/Silver," and therefore the Booster Pack could be themed around them.

Mythical Island Booster Pack Now Available!

The Mythical Island Themed Booster Pack has been released this December 16 PST! Many new cards are now available including Mew ex, which is featured in the cover of the Booster Pack.

Previous Pack Points Cannot Be Used

According to the announcement in the X official account, Pack Points that are accumulated with each Booster Pack, and the points earned in Genetic Apex can only be exchanged for Genetic Apex cards. Therefore, even if you accumulate points in Genetic Apex, they cannot be exchanged for cards from the Mythical Island themed Booster Pack.

New Cards in the Upcoming Booster Packs

No official details about the included cards have been revealed so far, but it may share a similar structure to the Genetic Apex Booster Packs, which featured three packs for players to choose from.

5 Card Types Have Been Added Including a Different Illustration of Venusaur

A Venusaur drop event is underway. New cards featuring Haunter and Jigglypuff have been added. Additionally, alternate artworks for Venusaur, Greninja, and Onix have been implemented.

Lapras Ex and 4 other Promo Types Introduced

The Lapras EX drop event will be held starting this Nov 4. Lapras EX and Mankey have been implemented as new cards. Also, three different illustrations of Butterfree, Pikachu, and Clefairy are now available.

Different Illustrations of Meowth and Chansey Have Been Implemented

The first half of the Wonder Pick event is being held. As rewards, you can obtain the Promo cards 'Meowth' and 'Chansey.' The performance is the same as the existing cards, but with different illustrations.
