How to Use Cresselia ex

Can Heal HP with Ability

Cresselia ex has an Ability that heals 20 HP each time a Psychic Energy is attached to it from the Energy Zone. This effect pairs especially well with Gardevoir, potentially allowing a large HP recovery in a single turn.

Constant Energy Attachment Isn’t Ideal

While the Ability's 20 HP heal is strong, any Energy attached beyond the fourth one serves no real purpose, which is a drawback. Considering the need to power up other Pokemon, the number of Ability activations will likely be around three to four times.

80 Damage for 3 Energy is Underwhelming

Cresselia ex’s Attack deals 80 damage for 3 Energy, which isn't particularly strong. Factoring in its Ability, its performance is similar to Lapras ex. Since it's obtainable from the Promo Booster Pack, its power level may be intentionally kept moderate.
