Deck Creation Rules

Up to 2 Same Cards

  1. Pikachu
  2. Pikachu ex

The Pokemon deck consists of 20 cards, with a maximum of 2 copies of the same card allowed. Additionally, Pokemon ex are treated as separate cards, so you can include 2 copies of both Pikachu and Pikachu ex in the same deck.

Difference from Physical Cards

Set Energy Zone Type for Each Deck

Unlike physical Pokemon cards, the deck does not include Energy cards. You attach Energy from the Energy Zone every turn. The Energy type you set when creating the deck will be generated in the Energy Zone during battle.

Deck Building Tips

  1. Decide which Pokemon/Supporter cards you want to use
  2. Include Compatible Cards That Have Good Synergy
  3. Adjust the number of versatile item/supporter cards

Choose Pokemon/Supporter Cards

When building a deck, first decide which Pokemon and Supporter cards you want to use. The most important point is to include the cards you want to use, so start by including the maximum number you can for those cards.

List of All Cards & Card Dex

Compatible Cards With Good Synergy

  1. Lapras
  2. Misty

When you have decided on the cards you want to use, include other cards that have good synergy with it. A clear example would be the combination of Water Pokemon and Misty.

Also Consider the Required Amount of Energy

It's important to take into account the Energy needed for the Pokemon in the active spot to attack when choosing your next Pokemon card. Generally, the transition will be smoother if your replacement Pokemon card requires less Energy than your main Pokemon.

Adjust the Number of Versatile Item/Supporter Cards

Pokemon6 to 8 Cards
Supporter4 to 6 Cards
Item6 to 10 Cards

After deciding on the core of your deck, add the versatile cards you use for all decks to reach a total of 20 Pokemon Cards. The card ratio distribution provided is just a guideline, so feel free to use it as a reference.
