Lunala ex Deck - Pros / Cons

  1. Can Attack from the Second Turn
  2. Going first with Giratina ex is fine
  3. Putting Giratina ex into play is crucial

Can Attack from the Second Turn

  1. Lunala ex
  2. Giratina ex

Lunala ex's Ability allows you to move Energy from Psychic Pokemon. By using it together with Giratina ex, you can aim for 100 damage starting from the second turn if going second.

Going First with Giratina ex is Fine

If going first, it's fine to put Giratina ex in the Active Spot and aim to use its Attack starting from the third turn. If it's about to be Knocked Out, retreat it to the Bench and move the excess Energy to Lunala ex, allowing you to continuously use Attacks.

Include One Single-Prize Pokemon

If your only Pokemon capable of dealing damage are Pokemon ex, matchups against Oricorio become very difficult, so it's recommended to include one Single-Prize attacker. This deck includes Giratina, which can also act as a wall and has a retreat cost of 0.

Putting Giratina ex into Play is Crucial

Lunala ex's Ability enables powerful plays only when you have extra Energy available. If you can't put Giratina ex into play on the first turn, there's a risk that your speed will significantly drop.
