Paralyzed Effects

Unable To Attack or Run Away

Paralyze is one of the special conditions. A paralyzed Pokemon cannot use attacks or run away during your turn.

Paralyze Effect Flow

1.Pokemon becomes Paralyzed during opponent's turn
2.Opponent turn ends
3.Pokemon Checkup (Cannot cure at this point)
4.Your turn begins
5.Your turn ends
6.Paralyze heals during this Pokemon Checkup
7.Opponent's turn starts

Can Overlap With Other Special Conditions

Paralyze can overlap with "Poisoned" or "Burned." However, if a Pokemon is inflicted with "Asleep" or "Confused," only the newly inflicted special condition remains.

How To Cure Paralyze

  1. Heals automatically during your Pokemon Checkup
  2. Heals if the Pokemon leaves the active battle position
  3. Heals when Pokemon evolves
  4. No cards have effects that cure Paralyzed as of now

Heals Automatically During Pokemon Check

A paralyzed Pokemon will automatically recover from paralysis during the Pokemon Checkup after your turn.

Cures By Leaving The Active Position

A paralyzed Pokemon can also recover from paralysis if it leaves the active battle position and returns to the bench.

Recovers By Evolving

A paralyzed Pokemon will recover from paralysis if it evolves.

How To Evolve And Conditions

Recovery Through Card Effects

At this point, no cards can cure paralysis and other special conditions.
