Charizard ex Pros and Cons

Able to One Shot All Pokemon

Charizard ex's move is powerful and deals 200 damage with 4 energies. In the release state, it can one shotKnocked Out all of the Pokemon.

The Move Cannot be Used Consecutively

Be careful that the attack will discard 2 Fire Energy, making it difficult to attack consecutively.

Great Chemistry with Moltres ex

Charizard ex is a Pokemon that requires time to prepare for the attack, and little can be done in the early game. Use Moltres ex's move to boost energy and prepare Charizard smoothly.

Able to Attack Consecutively

Use Moltres ex's moves to boost energy, and if you can put more than 5 energies onto Charizard, it can attack consecutively.

Slash Can Be Used During Preparation

Charizard ex's Slash deals 60 damage with 3 energies which is not bad. Use it before Charizard has enough energy to attack with Crimson Storm.

2 Evolution Takes Time

Charizard ex is a stage 2 Pokemon, so even in the best scenario, it takes 3 turns after Charmander is put on the bench or active spot.
