Charizard ex (Shining Revelry) Pros and Cons

High Damage Stage 2 Pokemon ex

Charizard ex takes time to set up but can repeatedly deal 150 damage, making it a powerful Pokemon. It is typically paired with Moltres ex, but if setup is slow, it can accelerate Energy with its Attack No.1.

Battle After Evolving

Since Charmander and Charmeleon have relatively weak stats, it's best to evolve them on the Bench before entering battle.

Comparison with Another Charizard ex

The Charizard ex from Booster Pack Genetic Apex Charizard has an attack that deals 200 damage but discards two of its own Energy. While the Genetic Apex Charizard ex is generally preferred, the Shining Revelry Charizard ex is useful when repeated attacks are needed.
