Extradimensional Crisis Confirmed Cards
Buzzwole ex

Evolution Stage | Type | Special Features |
---|---|---|
HP | Weakness | Retreat |
140 |
- Punch30
- Big Beat120During your next turn, this Pokemon can't use Big Beat.
Promising as a Grass Type Finisher
Buzzwole ex has two Attacks, but the main one to use will likely be its Attack No.2, Big Beat. Since it's an Ultra Beast, if there are 2 Energy cards in the Discard pile, you can use the Lusamine card (mentioned later) for Energy Acceleration, and combined with attaching Energy from your hand, you can use the Attack immediately.
Nihilego

Evolution Stage | Type | Special Features |
---|---|---|
HP | Weakness | Retreat |
70 |
- More PoisonYour opponent's Active Pokemon takes +10 damage from being Poisoned.
- New Wave30Your opponent's Active Pokemon is now Poisoned.
Powerful Poisoned Support Card
Nihilego's Ability can increase damage from Poisoned by +10. Its Attack is also quite powerful, dealing at least 50 damage including Poisoned. Since this effect likely stacks, having two of them on the field could be very troublesome for the opponent.
Guzzlord ex

Evolution Stage | Type | Special Features |
---|---|---|
HP | Weakness | Retreat |
170 |
- Grindcore30Flip a coin until you get tails. For each heads, discard a random Energy from your opponent's Active Pokemon.
- Tyrannical Hole120
Devastating if the Attack No.1's Effect Hits
Guzzlord ex's Attack No.1 also has the same effect as
Celesteela

Evolution Stage | Type | Special Features |
---|---|---|
HP | Weakness | Retreat |
120 |
- Ultra ThrustersOnce during your turn, you may switch your Active Ultra Beast with 1 of your Benched Ultra Beasts.
- Moombahton100Flip a coin. If tails, this Attack does nothing.
Powerful Support for Ultra Beasts
Celesteela’s Ability lets you switch an Ultra Beast with one on your Bench. Since Celesteela itself is also a valid target, being able to easily retreat it when it starts in the Active Spot is a big advantage.
Plus, if you have two Celesteela in play, you can use Buzzwole ex’s second attack on back-to-back turns. This makes the Celesteela and Buzzwole ex combo especially worth keeping an eye on.
Pheromosa

Evolution Stage | Type | Special Features |
---|---|---|
HP | Weakness | Retreat |
70 |
- Jump Blues20This attack also does 20 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokemon.
Devastating if Its First Attack’s Effect Lands
The Attack's effect itself is the same as
Since it's a Grass Type Pokemon that can easily perform a Bench Attack, it looks like a strong partner for
Kartana

- Electronica60Your opponent's Active Pokemon is now Confused.
Basic Pokemon for Stalling
Xurkitree has an Attack that deals 60 damage for 3 Energy and inflicts Confusion. As an Ultra Beast, it can accelerate Energy with Lusamine, making it a potentially useful staller in the mid to late game.
Naganadel

Evolution Stage | Type | Special Features |
---|---|---|
HP | Weakness | Retreat |
100 |
- Electro House40Your opponent's Active Pokemon is now Poisoned.
Excellent Stage 1 Attacker
Naganadel has an excellent Attack, dealing 40 damage + Poisoned for 1 Energy. In terms of performance alone, it is better than
Stakataka

Evolution Stage | Type | Special Features |
---|---|---|
HP | Weakness | Retreat |
110 |
- Brass Rock40During your opponent's next turn, this Pokemon takes -20 damage from attacks.
Decently High Durability
Stakataka has high HP for a Basic Pokemon (110) and its Attack reduces incoming Attack damage by 20. Its effective HP is 130 or more, but its Attack damage is low, and it might be difficult for it to shine unless it's in a deck that can leverage its Ultra Beast trait.
Blacephalon

Evolution Stage | Type | Special Features |
---|---|---|
HP | Weakness | Retreat |
100 |
- Beat Punk130This Pokemon also does 70 damage to itself.
Attack is Strong, but Recoil is also Large
Blacephalon has a very powerful Attack, dealing 130 damage for 3 Energy. However, it also takes 70 damage itself, so it can only use the Attack a maximum of two times as is.
Ideally, you'd want to use it to take the final Prize cards, but it might also be interesting to use

Tapu Koko ex can accelerate Energy to itself with its Attack No.1, and combined with attaching Energy from hand, it can deal 90 damage with its Attack No.2 on the next turn. It's a card with performance like a Basic Pokemon version of

Type: Null is a versatile Pokemon that can deal 20-40 damage for 1 Energy. As a comparison, it would be
Seems Easy to Use as a Pre-Evolution
Silvally exists as its Evolved form, and if it performs well, Type: Null becomes a high-performance pre-Evolved Pokemon. Depending on Silvally’s performance, this Evolution line could be a flexible choice for various decks.

- Lightning Claw50
Powerful Card if Played First on Your Turn
Zeraora's Ability allows it to attach a Lightning Energy to itself at the end of your first turn. This allows it to attack one turn earlier if you go first, but it doesn't change the turn it starts attacking if you go second.
Shiinotic

Evolution Stage | Type | Special Features |
---|---|---|
HP | Weakness | Retreat |
90 |
- IlluminateOnce during your turn, you may put a random Pokemon from your deck into your hand.
- Gentle Slap40
Excellent Search Card Usable on the Bench
Shiinotic's Attack performance is average, but its Ability allows you to Draw 1 random card a Pokemon from your deck once per turn. Since it can target any Pokemon, it's likely to be included in decks that absolutely need a specific Pokemon.
Since Shiinotic itself is a Stage 1 Pokemon, using it together with a Stage 2 Pokemon will significantly clutter the deck. It's best used as support for Basic to Stage 1 Pokemon.
Rowlet

Evolution Stage | Type | Special Features |
---|---|---|
HP | Weakness | Retreat |
60 |
- Fury Attack10×Flip 3 coins. This Attack does 10 damage for each heads.
