How to Use Giovanni

Use It To Knock Out Opponent

The most efficient way to use Giovanni is to use it in a situation where you can Knock Out the opponent's Pokemon with an additional 10 damages. Even if you use Giovanni first, enemy Pokemon can be retreated or healed with Potion, so make sure to save until you need 10 extra damage to Knock Out.

No Use Depending Depending on Deck

Giovanni is a highly versatile card that can be used regardless of Pokemon, but it doesn't make sense to use it on Pokemon such as Charizard ex which can One-Shot KO all the Pokemon currently available. Consider the meta decks and carefully decide if there is any situation where it would be effective to have 10 extra damage.

Bench Attack Cannot Be Enhanced

Giovanni will only work on damage towards enemy Pokemon at the Active Spot. Attack aimed at the Bench Pokemon will not increase, so be careful.
