Lickilicky ex Deck - Pros / Cons

  1. Potential to One-Hit KO anything
  2. Highly consistent game plan
  3. Struggles if Dialga ex falls early

Potential to One-Hit KO Anything

Lickilicky ex’s attack increases in damage with each successful coin flip. Even a single heads results in 140+ damage, and two or more heads can One-Hit KO almost any Pokemon.

Highly Consistent Game Plan

Since the number of Pokemon in this deck is small, Dialga ex consistently enables Energy Acceleration. This allows for a smooth transition into Lickilicky ex’s attacks without disruption.

Struggles if Dialga ex Falls Early

If Dialga ex is knocked out before setting up enough Energy, Lickilicky ex may be forced into battle unprepared. This weakens its ability to score multiple knockouts and can put you at a disadvantage.

Lickilicky ex Deck Strategy

  1. Aim for Energy Acceleration with Dialga
  2. Use Dawn to reach 4 Energy and attack
  3. If Dawn is unavailable, use Energy Acceleration twice
Aim for Energy Acceleration with Dialga
  1. Dialga ex
  2. Lickitung (Space-Time Smackdown)

Simply attaching Energy to Lickilicky ex from the Energy Zone can lead to a slow setup, so aim for Energy Acceleration using other cards. Start by using Attack No.1 of Dialga ex to attach Energy to Lickitung on the Bench.

Use Dawn to Reach 4 Energy and Attack
  1. Lickilicky ex
  2. X Speed
  3. Dawn

After performing Energy Acceleration with Dialga ex, use X Speed to switch to Lickilicky ex, then use Dawn + Attach Energy from Zone to unleash a 4 Energy attack. With a 50% chance to deal 140+ damage, Lickilicky can often push through for the win.

If X Speed is Unavailable, Attack with Dialga

If you don’t have X Speed, follow the same steps but attack with Dialga ex’s Attack No.2 instead. In this case, use Attack No.1 again on the next turn to reattach Energy to Lickilicky.

If Dawn is Unavailable, Use Energy Acceleration Twice
  1. Dialga ex
  2. Lickilicky ex

If Dawn is unavailable, set up a second Dialga ex or Lickilicky ex on the Bench and distribute Energy so that one attacker has 2 Energy and the other has 3. Switch on the next turn and attack with the powered-up attacker.
