Mesprit Can Deal 160 Damage

Mesprit has a powerful attack that deals 160 damage for 3 Energy. While it requires having Uxie and Azelf on the Bench, it can take down many Pokemon in one hit.

Conditions for Mesprit are Demanding

Despite Mesprit's powerful attack, the conditions required to use it are challenging. Even if you meet the Energy requirements, the attack can't be used unless the conditions are fulfilled, so it's essential to ensure both Pokemon are placed on the Bench early on.

Energy Discard Effect is a Heavy Drawback

Mesprit's attack discards all attached Energy, which makes it challenging to use it repeatedly. Given the conditions to activate its attack, securing 3 points with this deck is very difficult.

Mesprit Benefits from Mythical Slab

Since Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf are all Psychic Type Pokemon, they are all eligible to summon using Mythical Slab. This makes it easier to add the necessary Pokemon to your hand.

Repeat steps 1 to 3

Accelerate Energy with Uxie

Start by using Uxie to perform Energy Acceleration on Mesprit and Azelf, while dealing damage. If you don’t have another Uxie available, retreat before it gets knocked out.

Deal Damage to Main Pokemon with Azelf

Next, use Azelf to deal damage to the opponent’s main Pokemon. This will allow you to call it with Cyrus. If you don’t have another Azelf, retreat before it’s knocked out.

Defeat Opponents with Mesprit

Use Mesprit’s attack to deal 160 damage and knock out the opponent’s Pokemon. Ensure Uxie and Azelf are on the Bench to use this attack.

Repeat Steps 1 to 3

When you use Mesprit’s Attack, all Energy will be discarded, so return to the step of accelerating Energy with Uxie. Afterward, continue the steps from Azelf to Mesprit and aim for another 160 damage.
