Glaceon ex Deck - Pros / Cons

  1. Early Aggression with Glaceon ex
  2. Using Glaceon as a Defensive Wall
  3. Managing Manaphy Requires Careful Play

Early Aggression with Glaceon ex

  1. Glaceon ex
  2. Manaphy
  3. Misty

With its Ability factored in, Glaceon ex deals 110 damage for just three Energy, making it one of the most efficient Water Pokemon in terms of damage output. This deck takes advantage of the powerful Energy Acceleration tools like Manaphy and Misty to launch strong attacks early in the game.

Using Glaceon as a Defensive Wall

Glaceon ex’s Ability allows it to deal damage without Energy, making it a viable option to stall in the Active Spot while gradually lowering the opponent’s HP. If using it this way, it’s best to avoid playing Manaphy and instead prepare other Pokemon like Palkia ex on the Bench.

Managing Manaphy Requires Careful Play

Since this deck heavily relies on Pokemon ex, losing Manaphy can put you at a major disadvantage in Prize trades. The timing of Irida, which can heal HP, plays a crucial role in sustaining your board, making this deck somewhat tricky to play.
