Has High HP

Blastoise is a Single-Prize Pokemon with a high HP of 150. Its Attack damage is standard at 80 for 3 Energy, but with 5 Water Energy, it can deal 140 damage, making it a viable finisher depending on the situation.

Strong Competition from Other Cards

As an Evolve target from Wartortle, Blastoise is often overshadowed by Blastoise ex, which is preferred for most decks. Blastoise is typically used as a backup Stage 2 Pokemon.

Even aiming for 140 damage, Gyarados ex can serve as a better option, making Blastoise mostly useful as a placeholder until other cards are available.
