Omastar Deck - Pros / Cons
- Omastar's Attack Blockage is Strong
- You Can Aim for a Lucky Outcome With Lapras
- It would be difficult if you could raise two attackers
Omastar's Attack Blockage is Strong
Omastar, the core of the deck, is a Pokemon with a powerful Ancient Whirlpool attack. It can nullify opposing Pokemon's attacks, making it invulnerable even to the strongest attackers. This ability greatly enhances its strategic value, restricting opponents and establishing dominance in gameplay.
It is Also Excellent to Be Able to Deal 70 Damage
The attack damage is 70, allowing for a one-hit KO against small Basic Pokemon, which is a strong point. Additionally, Pokemon that cannot be defeated often have high retreat costs or have already evolved, making the attack prevention effect quite impactful.
You Can Aim for a Lucky Outcome With Lapras
Omastar is a solid Pokemon as long as it has evolved by the late game, so attaching Energy from the Energy Zone is sufficient. This allows you to use Misty to support the Pokemon Lapras in this deck. Depending on the results of the coin flips, Lapras can become an attacker that deals 90 damage early on.
It Will Be Difficult if Two Attackers Are Prepared
Omastar's attack suppression effect is only effective against the opposing attacker. Therefore, if you have two attackers on the board, you can let the Pokemon whose attack is blocked retreat and then attack with the one on the bench.
