Bruxish Pros and Cons

Stronger After Opponent Takes Damage

Bruxish's attack is quite weak, dealing only 10 damage with 2 Energy when the opponent's HP is full. However, if the opponent's active Pokemon has taken damage, it deals 70 damage, making it a much stronger option.

Excellent Synergy with Greninja

For Bruxish to shine, the opponent must have taken damage. It pairs particularly well with Greninja, whose ability can deal damage to the opponent.

High HP for a Basic Pokemon

Bruxish has 90 HP, which is high for a Basic Pokemon. It is less likely to be knocked out in one hit, allowing you to deal 10 damage first and then follow up with 70 damage in the next turn.
