Tyranitar Deck - Pros / Cons

  1. Tyranitar's 160 Damage is Powerful
  2. Use Arceus as a Wall
  3. :Struggles If Tyranitar is Knocked Out

Tyranitar's 160 Damage is Powerful

  1. Tyranitar
  2. Arceus

Tyranitar is a Stage 2 Pokemon, and its Attack requires 4 Energy, making it slow to start. On its own, it’s not very strong, but if Arceus is on the Bench, its damage is boosted to 160, allowing it to One-Hit KO most Pokemon.

Use Arceus as a Wall

Since you’re evolving Tyranitar on the Bench, Arceus will serve as your wall. Even if Arceus gets knocked out, you can recover it with Celestic Town Elder and continue to power up Tyranitar.

Struggles If Tyranitar is Knocked Out

You’re aiming to score 3 points with Tyranitar, so facing an opponent who can knock it out in one turn is a tough challenge. Due to its slow start, it gives the opponent a chance to prepare.
