Mismagius ex Deck - Pros / Cons

  1. Fight persistently with Mismagius ex’s Confusion
  2. Capable of attacking quickly
  3. Needs to compensate for low damage

Fight Persistently with Mismagius ex’s Confusion

The strength of the Mismagius ex deck lies in its ability to inflict Confusion, weakening the opponent’s moves while battling. Since Confusion can force an opponent to waste an attack depending on a coin flip, it may pressure them into making suboptimal plays.

Capable of Attacking Quickly

This deck consists mainly of Pokemon that require 2 or fewer Energy to attack. It also makes good use of Mythical Slab, so make sure to use Evolution cards efficiently and apply pressure from the early game.

Needs to Compensate for Low Damage

Mismagius ex’s damage output isn’t particularly high, so this deck needs alternative ways to make up for it. You can use Mew ex to copy an opponent’s high-damage attack or equip Rocky Helmet to chip away at their HP.

Mismagius ex Deck Strategy

  1. Choose Pokemon based on turn order
  2. Use Florges for aggressive battles
  3. Use status conditions for high HP pokemon
Choose Pokemon Based on Turn Order
  1. Floette
  2. Mismagius ex

Mismagius ex is strong when going second. When going first, use Pokemon like Floette that can deal damage with low Energy.

Use Florges in Aggressive Battles
  1. Florges

In aggressive battles, the HP healing of Florges is very useful. If your Pokemon’s HP has been reduced, switch it to the Bench and recover HP with Florges.

Use Status Conditions for High HP Pokemon
  1. Mismagius ex
  2. Flabebe
  3. Mew ex

Since this deck doesn’t deal high damage, dealing with high HP Pokemon requires inflicting status conditions. Use Mismagius ex's Confusion and Flabebe's Asleep to buy time, then aim to counter with Mew ex.
