Tablet Runecraft Deck - How to Play
Play Tablet of Tribulations and Collect Combo Pieces
From the early game, play Tablet of Tribulations to thin your deck, and draw with Engage each turn to assemble the necessary combo pieces. The goal is to draw Anne & Grea, Mysterian Duo, Bergent, Rejected Artes, and Dimension Climb by turn 5, and Ruler of Cocytus by turn 10.
Control the Field While Collecting Pieces
From the mid-game onwards, let's control the opponent's field while cycling through your draws and advancing your Spellboost.
Keep Your Defense High with Restore
If your Defense has been lowered, you should restore it with Sagelight Teachings or Gilnelise, Voracity Manifest.
Be Careful with Earth Sigil Management
When you play an Earth Sigil on the field, it can make your field very crowded along with Tablet of Tribulations and Onion Patch, so it's recommended to play only as many as you need in situations where you're likely to play Norman, Adamant Alchemist or Arcane Eruption.
Land Ruler of Cocytus and Aim for a One-Turn Kill with Dimension Climb
After landing Ruler of Cocytus, if your hand is small and the cost of Dimension Climb is 0, play Dimension Climb as is to aim for lethal. Be sure to save at least one Super-Evolution.
Lock the Field with Snowman Army and Wait One Turn
Due to the nature of the deck, you tend to have a large hand size, so after playing Ruler of Cocytus, if you have the leeway to survive for one turn, locking the field with a 0-cost Snowman Army to endure is also a strong move.
Reliably Draw Astaroth's Reckoning with Tablet of Tribulations After Landing Ruler of Cocytus
In cases where you don't play Dimension Climb immediately after playing Ruler of Cocytus, on the next turn, by playing Tablet of Tribulations to thin your Apocalypse Deck and then playing Dimension Climb, you can reliably draw Astaroth's Reckoning, including the Engage draw. Be careful not to reduce your hand too much and run out of cards in your deck.
