E.O.D. Perk Basic Information

Take Less Explosive Damage
E.O.D. reduces the damage you get from non-killstreak explosives. The difference could be between death by a claymore or living to tell the tale.

This Perk will also allow you to fearlessly throw back incoming frag grenades! Picking up a frag grenade will reset the fuse timer, so you don't need to worry about the grenade blowing up while you're holding it!

Survive Explosives Better
Some small map sees an abundance of explosives from frag grenades to Claymores. If you find yourself getting blown up on a match regularly, its time to switch in the E.O.D. Perk.
Watch your Step
E.O.D. perk will not prevent you from setting explosives off nor will the enemy explosives be neutered unless you hack it. Watch your step or take the Spotter Perk to scout & hack equipments ahead.

Pick Spotter To Find Explosives Fast
You can spot and mark equipments (lethals included) through walls with the spotter perk. You'll still trigger them even with E.O.D. perk so this perk is essential to find their positions safely.
Pick Utility Or Offensive Skill For Balance
Your Perk 1 & 3 are tied down as defensive perks. For better balance, choose Restock for utility or Hardline to get killstreaks faster for offense.

Bring Equipment That Can Deal With Explosives
Sometimes, there's no way of dealing with explosives safely except fighting fire with fire. Use frag grenade or C4 to deal with explosives you found quickly if hacking is impossible.
Gather / Prevent Intel So You Can Hack In Peace
A Heartbeat Sensor can give you a rough estimate if you have time to deal with the explosives or not. Smoke Grenade blocks vision letting you hack in relative safety.
What Are Perks?
Perks are like a buff/debuff which passively effects you or your opponents while playing multiplayer. You have 3 perk slots and you can choose 1 perk per each slots according to your style of play. Change them out at Custom Loadouts.
