Pokemon Appearing In Raids
Learn Lick And Psychic Through Evolution
Hey there, Trainer! Haunter evolved to Gengar during the Raid Day event window should learn the exclusive moves (Lick and Psychic). However, this evolved Gengar will not wear a Party Hat. To encounter one with Party Hat, look for Tier 4 Raids. We hope to see you out there! ^MA

As per the official Twitter account, you will be able to get these two special moves on Gengar via evolution as well!
Shiny Variants
Very rarely, shiny versions of these raid Nidorino and Gengar will also appear! If you're looking to get these, make sure to do as many raids in the event window as you possibly can.

During Raid Day, you'll be able to obtain 5 free raid passes by usign the Photo Disk at a Gym, as opposed to the usual 1! When Raid Day is over you'll not only lose the chance to get 4 more passes than usual, but you'll also become unable to use the free bonus raid passes you obtained, so be careful!
You Can Only Have 2 Raid Passes
Raid passes you obtain from Photo Disks at Gyms are different from Premium battle passes in that you can't have more than 2! Therefore, in order to get all 5 passes from one gym, you'll need to participate in raid battles at least 4 times!
Dragonite Spawn Rates Up
Movie Tie-In Promo?
There are currently a high number of Dragonite spawning all over the world. Additionally, Sandslash and Fearow spawn rates also seem to be up. It is very likely that the increased spawn rate of Gen-1 final evolution Pokemon is being carried out as a special tie-in with the Mewtwo movie! Don't miss this opportunity to catch them all!
Special Trades
Carry Out 2 Special Trades!
During this event, you'll be able perform 1 more additional special trade per day than before (meaning, a total of twice per day). This is your chance to try trading with your friends!
What Are Special Trades?
Special Trades are limited trades where you exchange special types of Pokemon. They are carried out with a partner whose friend level is at least higher than "Good Friend". Usually, you can only carry out one trade per day.
What Counts As A Special Trade?
- Trading a Shiny Pokemon
- Trading a Legendary Pokemon
- Trading a Pokemon not registered in the Pokedex
- Trading a Purified Pokemon
