Hatch eggs and earn Buddy Candies even with the Pokemon Go off through Adventure Sync! With this feature, your walking progress, distance, and steps will all be synced to the app.
Provides Weekly Fitness Report
Adventure Sync will provide a fitness report with your overall steps, walking distance, and calories burned every week! You can check this in your Pokemon Go profile.
Save Battery with Adventure Sync
Without the need to keep the Pokemon Go app open, players will save a significant amount of battery life with Adventure Sync, while still recording their walking progress for hatching eggs and earning buddy candies.
Available for Level 5 and Up Players
Adventure Sync is only available for players who are level 5 or above. You can find the Adventure Sync option in the Settings menu.
Syncs with Google Fit and Apple Health
Adventure Sync connects with either Google Fit or Apple Health and syncs up the data for your progress there. So far, it only supports connections between those two fitness apps.
How to Activate Adventure Sync
Step 1: Go to the Settings Menu
You can find the option to turn on the Adventure Sync in the Settings Menu. Select the Adventure Sync option to get the prompt to turn it on!
Step 2: Activate the Adventure Sync
Once you get the prompt, choose Turn It On and there you have it! Your Adventure Sync will now sync your steps with your compatible fitness app.
Syncing May Take Some Time
There might be a slight delay in the transfer of data between Adventure Sync and your fitness app. Your progress may take a bit of time to fully sync between the apps.
Manually Inputted Data Not Counted
Workout data that you've manually inputted in your fitness app will not be counted by the Adventure Sync. Only data recorded by your phone will be counted for Pokemon Go.
Adventure Sync Not Working?
If you're having trouble getting your Adventure Sync to work, consider these options to fix issues on syncing!
Turn Off Phone's Power Saving Mode
There's a chance that your phone's power saving mode is interfering with the sensors needed for Adventure Sync. Turn off Power Saving Mode when using Adventure Sync.
Check If Google Fit or Apple Health is Connected
Adventure Sync will not work unless it's properly connected to Google Fit and Apple Health. Check if Pokemon Go is in your fitness app's connected apps section.
Allow Storage Access to Pokemon Go, Fitness App
To be able to share data with each other, both the Pokemon Go app and the fitness app needs access to your storage. Go to your phone's settings to check if storage access has been given to both apps.
