Field Research Pokemon Encounters (2020)

Encounter Pokemon at Level 15

The Pokemon you encounter after completing a Field Research Task will always be at Level 15. In addition, the IVs of the Pokemon are more likely to be higher than the IVs of Pokemon that normally encounter in the wild.

No Weather Boost

Pokemon that you encounter as rewards from Field Research Tasks do not receive a weather boost, regardless of the weather.

Shiny Pokemon May Appear

Keep in mind that some of the reward Pokemon will have a chance to be shiny. Keep a close eye on the Pokemon that appear as you may have the chance to capture a Pokemon's shiny variant!

Field Research Overview

Earn Different Rewards From Field Research

Field Research is a set of small quests that you can complete daily to earn rewards! Completing quests will earn you rewards including Berries, Stardust, Pokeballs, and more!

Get Daily Rewards By Completing A Quest

Each day, you will be able to get a reward for completing a quest. Rewards are displayed in the same box as the quests, and you will be able to claim them by clicking on them once the quest is completed.

Claiming A Reward Will Also Give You A Stamp

Claiming a reward from your completed Quests will also give you a Stamp to mark your Research Progress.

Collect 7 Stamps To Unlock Research Breakthroughs

After collecting seven stamps, you will unlock a Research Breakthrough. Research Breakthroughs will give you even more rewards with higher quality! Some of the rewards are listed below:

Field Research Tips

Delete Quests That Are Too Difficult

Having some difficulty with a particular Quest? You can always opt to delete it to find an easier quest for you to finish! Just hit the trash button on the top right corner of the quest to delete it so you can go find a new quest!

Spin A New Pokestop To Replace The Quest

In order for you to acquire a new quest, you will need to go out and find a Pokestop. Spin the Pokestop to get a new quest. Just remember that each Pokestop will only give you one quest per day.

Save Your Stamps

It would be best to claim only one reward per day. Claiming multiple rewards in a day will not reward you with more Stamps. It is best to save your rewards and claim one per day in order to make it easier to unlock research breakthroughs!
