Battle Strategy Against Ho-Oh

Rock Pokemon Are Best To Use Against Ho-Oh

Rock Pokemon such as Tyranitar, Golem, etc., are the best Pokemon to use against Ho-Oh. Since Ho-Oh is a Fire & Flying Type, it receives double the damage from Rock Type moves such as Stone Edge.

Have Legendary Electric Pokemon In Party

Bringing Raikou and Zapdos to your fight against Ho-Oh can help bring it down easily. Ho-Oh is weak against Electric attacks as it is also a Flying Type Pokemon.

Take Caution Against Ho-Oh's Solar Beam

Ho-Oh's Charged Move can be Solar Beam, a powerful Grass Type attack against Water & Rock Pokemon. When Ho-Oh is charging up its Solar Beam attack, swipe right or left to dodge it!
