Battle Strategy Against Shiftry

Best Pokemon To Use Vs. Shiftry (Scizor)

Scizor is one of the best Pokemon to counter Shiftry's attacks. Shiftry has double the weakness to Bug Type moves due to it being a Grass & Dark Type.

Have Fire & Fighting Pokemon In Your Roster

It's best to bring Bug Type Pokemon like Scizor and Pinsir in your battle but you can also fight with Fire or Fighting Pokemon! Use Moltres or a Breloom equipped with Fighting attacks.

Take Caution Against Flying Move Hurricane

Shiftry can learn the Flying Type move Hurricane. This is extremely effective against Bug Types such as Pinsir but can be withstood by Scizor.
