Release Date Of GO Snapshot

No Release Date Announced Yet

Currently, GO Snapshot has just been announced through the official website and Twitter. The release details or when the feature will be available in the app has yet to be confirmed.

GO Snapshot was announced within Pokemon GO's official site, Twitter, and within the app on February 11, 2019. The feature will allow players to take photos of Pokemon already in their Pokemon Storage via the use of the AR+ feature.

How To Activate GO Snapshot

Examine Pokemon In Storage Or Access Camera In Bag

You'll be able to access the photo AR+ feature of GO Snapshot in two ways - by examining a specific Pokemon in your Pokemon Storage or choosing the camera which will be found in your Bag of items.

Choose Pokemon & Throw Pokeball To Open It

Once you've selected a Pokemon, you can tap a spot on the screen to throw its Pokeball towards that spot. This will release the Pokemon onto the screen and you can move it around however you want.

Tap Or Brush To Interact Or Make Pokemon Face You

If your Pokemon is distracted, you can simply tap it or brush your finger across its face on the screen to direct its attention onto you. You can also interact with it via a series of taps or brushes.

Photos Are Saved On Device Automatically

All the photos you take while snapping shots of your Pokemon will be automatically saved onto your device. This will make it easy to keep or share on your social media channels!

Hold Down Camera Trigger To Rapid Fire Shots

In GO Snapshot, players can rapidly take photos of their Pokemon by holding down on the camera button. This ensures that no moment is lost in documenting their precious Pokemon.

Share Photos Via Linked Social Media Channels

If you have any social media accounts linked to Pokemon GO, the GO Snapshot will allow you to share your photos easily. You simply need to pick the social media channel you want to share to.

New Feature To Take Photos Of Pokemon In Storage

GO Snapshot is a new and upcoming feature in Pokemon GO that will allow Trainers to take snapshots of Pokemon in their Pokemon Storage. They will have access to the same AR+ technology to take dynamic photos of their favorite Pokemon.
