Booster Rematch Strategy and Countermeasures

  • Apply Geno Boost to Mario
  • Replace Bowser with Peach to make her the healer
  • Mute is also effective
  • Stop Booster's work preparations by attacking
  • It's dangerous if you don't defeat Booster quickly

First, inflict Fear status with Bowser

Mario RPG Remake_Booster Rematch_Fear Status

In this battle, Fear status is effective against all enemies, so use Bowser's "Terrorize" to inflict Fear on all enemies. This will greatly stabilize the battle by increasing the damage dealt by the entire party and reducing the damage received.

Apply Geno Boost to Mario

Mario RPG Remake_Booster Rematch_Geno Boost and Jump

Booster is weak to Jump attacks, so strengthen Mario, who will be the main attacker, with "Geno Boost".

Replace Bowser with Peach to make her the healer

Mario RPG Remake_Booster Rematch_Heal with Peach

After inflicting Fear status with Bowser, replace Bowser with Peach to make her the healer. You'll want to heal any character whose HP drops below half.

Mute is also effective

Mario RPG Remake_Booster Rematch_Mute

Silence status is effective against all enemies, so using Peach's "Mute" is also an option. Since Snifits use magic attacks, if you don't have equipment that reduces elemental damage, using "Mute" will make it safer.

Stop Booster's work preparations by attacking

Mario RPG Remake_Booster Rematch_9999 Damage

When Booster's work is complete, an AoE attack dealing 9999 damage will occur. Attacking him while he's working will break his concentration and prevent the 9999 damage attack, so as soon as Booster starts working, attack him immediately to stop his work.

It's dangerous if you don't defeat Booster quickly

Mario RPG Remake_Booster Rematch_Work Speed

Each time a Snifit uses "Cheer," Booster's work speed increases. If the cheer stage increases, depending on agility, he may perform the 9999 damage attack without a preparation turn, so focus your attacks only on Booster and aim for a quick victory.

Cheer Stage Quick Reference Table

TimesDescription
1Booster's work speed increased
2Booster's work speed slightly increased
3Booster's work speed considerably increased
4Booster's work speed certainly increased
5Booster's work speed especially increased
6Booster's work speed undoubtedly increased
7Booster's work speed maximally increased

Increasing agility allows you to cope with work speed

If you maintain a 5-stage chain with an equipment setup specialized in agility, you will be able to get an attack chance to stop Booster's work even if his work speed increases. If it becomes a long battle, increase your agility before challenging him.

My current() state of mind is similar to when a cherished() plastic model was
knocked off a shelf() during cleaning() at that time().

To raise funds, I sold my favorite game
to a boy in Mushroom Kingdom for 100 coins. I wonder if
the boy is still playing that game.

    Not enough paid leave!
