LocationCountry Road
Details1 coin for clearing Expert
2 coins for successful Double Up ⇒ 4 coins

You can get 1 Frog Coin by completing the Chikuwa Bridge on Expert difficulty, and if you succeed in Double Up twice, you can get up to 4 coins. If you can do it consistently, you can earn 4 coins steadily, so it's a recommended farming method once you get used to it.

Method to earn 1 coin at a time without Double Up

If you're not stable on your 2nd or 3rd attempt, the method of repeatedly doing the easy first attempt without Double Up to earn 1 coin at a time is also recommended. Efficiency drops, but the difficulty is quite low.

Collect at PataPata Platoon's Cliff

Details5 coins for clearing in ~9.99 seconds
1 coin for clearing in 10.xx ~ 12.99 seconds (chance)

You can get 5 Frog Coins by clearing the PataPata Platoon's Cliff within 10 seconds. Clearing it under 10 seconds requires technique and is very difficult, but if you are confident in your skills, it's the most efficient way to collect Frog Coins.

Defeat Strong Enemies

Defeat Strong Enemies
Details1 coin for defeating a strong enemy monster

You can get 1 Frog Coin by defeating strong enemies that rarely appear in regular battles. In early areas, once your level is high enough, strong enemies can be defeated easily, so you can collect them through simple repetition.

Procedure to Earn Frog Coins from Strong Enemies

Go to Bandit's Way

Procedure to Earn Frog Coins from Strong Enemies

First, enter Bandit's Way and go to the area with two boards where the Shymore is.

Encounter Shymore and Flee if Not a Strong Enemy

First, encounter a Shymore. If it's not a strong enemy, flee. If you jump on the flashing Shymore immediately after fleeing, you will enter battle the moment it stops flashing. After that, just keep fleeing until a strong enemy appears, then defeat it.

Easier with 'See Ya'

With 'See Ya', you can reliably escape from battle, so you won't lose time due to failed escapes. You can exchange 10 Frog Coins for it in Ripple Town, so if you already have 10 Frog Coins, it's recommended to get it.

Shymores Spawn from Off-Screen

Procedure to Earn Frog Coins from Strong Enemies

When you defeat the initial two Shymores, two new Shymores will appear from off-screen. By going back and forth, you can infinitely defeat Shymores and earn Frog Coins.

Collect via Goomba Thwomp

In Goomba Thwomp, you receive a Frog Coin for achieving target scores of 22/24/28/30 points, and subsequently, you get 1 coin each time you score 30 points. Since it's one coin at a time, the efficiency is lower than the methods above, but if you are confident, it's possible to earn them consistently.

Stomp Ant Warrior 3 Times

LocationCountry Road
Details1 coin for stomping an Ant Warrior 3 consecutive times

In the desert area of Country Road, you can get 1 Frog Coin by stomping an Ant Warrior 3 consecutive times. You also get 10 regular coins each time you stomp it, so it's recommended if you want to earn regular coins at the same time.
